Teachers & Staff

Amber Nietling
Hello, my name is Amber Nietling and I am very excited to be the director at Primrose School of Rochester Hills. I have been working in the field of early childhood education for over 14 years. I started out my journey as an infant teacher and worked my way up to administration. I have been in early childhood administration for the past 8 years.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education Administration and I am currently working towards my Master’s degree. I am married and we have an 8-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son. We also recently added a mini goldendoodle puppy to our family! I love working with young children, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can learn and grow. I look forward to connecting with families and staff, building a strong sense of community within the school. I am looking forward to meeting you and getting to know your family!

Heather Akers
My name is Heather Akers and my role at the Primrose School of Rochester Hills is the Education Coach; it will be my great pleasure to serve the families and communities of this area!
I have been involved in the early childhood field in some capacity for over 23 years. I was involved in the children’s ministries at my church when I was young, and I continued this love by working with children from infants to school age throughout my life up until this point. I graduated from college in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education and am looking forward to pursuing my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education within the next few years.
I have been married for 18 years and we have a 17 year old son who is a senior in high school this year. My other child is a 6 year old Yorkshire Terrier named Baxter! Throughout the years of working with young children, I have developed a strong passion for providing students with a high-quality learning environment as well as working to create a challenging age appropriate curriculum within the classroom. It will be my goal to assist teachers and staff here at Primrose to establish relationships with families, connect with children, build knowledge of curriculum, and of course have joy while growing individually and collectively!

Franchise Owners
Robert George & Lindsey Bodiya
Welcome to Primrose School of Rochester Hills! We are Robert George and Lindsey Bodiya, a husband-and-wife team excited to bring high-quality preschool and child care to families in the Rochester Hills, Michigan, community.
As parents, we know how essential early education is in shaping a child’s future. Lindsey earned her degree in early childhood education where she found a deep passion for nurturing young minds and fostering their growth. Robert’s entrepreneurial background complements this vision, enabling us to build a school that supports both educational excellence and strong community connections. Together, we’re committed to creating a warm, enriching environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We were drawn to Primrose for its balanced approach to learning—combining purposeful play with nurturing guidance to inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion. We’re thrilled to offer a school that delivers more than a curriculum; it provides a transformative experience for children and their families.
When we’re not working, we love spending time as a family, exploring local parks, and participating in community events. Giving back to our community is close to our hearts, and we’re honored to partner with families in shaping the next generation of leaders.
We look forward to meeting you and your family!
