Franchise Owners
Sima Patel and Sunny Patel
Sima and Sunny Patel, a sister-brother duo, are the proud owners of the Primrose School of Reston. Their shared love for family, community, and education is at the heart of everything they do.
Sima began her teaching career in 2008 as a toddler teacher and went on to teach preschool and first grade in elementary schools before stepping into leadership roles. Her time as a Primrose School Director sparked her dream of opening her own school, where she could continue creating meaningful learning experiences for children and families. With over 17 years in early childhood education, Sima’s passion for nurturing young minds continues to inspire everyone around her. She holds a Master’s in Education from Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
Sunny holds a BBA in Finance and International Business from George Washington University and an MBA from The Wharton School. A successful entrepreneur in the DMV area, Sunny developed a deep appreciation for early childhood education after seeing how much his own children thrived in a caring and high-quality program.
Together, Sima and Sunny are dedicated to providing a warm, family-oriented environment where children feel loved, safe, and excited to learn — and where parents feel like part of the Primrose family. They believe strong schools build strong communities, and they’re honored to bring that spirit to every child and family who walks through their doors.
