Welcome to Primrose School at Pelham!
As the proud owner and operator, Stacie Bryant and her husband, Joe Bryant – along with co-owners, Rick and Stacy Schroder – we are excited you are interested in our school! As working parents ourselves, we understand the difficulty of entrusting our children to someone else’s care during our workday, especially during these important formative years. Our goal at Primrose School at Pelham, is to provide parents with an environment where they can feel good about leaving their children, knowing their little ones are receiving the best quality of care and education.
Meet the Bryant Family –
Stacie and Joe have three children, two teenage sons and a teenage daughter. Stacie has been in the childcare industry for more than 15 years in various roles as a Teacher, Assistant Director and most recently as a Director. After time well spent with her family at home she has decided to get back to her passion for education and launch Primrose School at Pelham. Joe is a managing principal for a local civil engineering firm SeamonWhiteside and is eager to support the Primrose School at Pelham team in its growth. Stacie and Joe both moved around a lot growing up, and after meeting at Clemson University, eventually settled in Greenville to raise their family.
Meet the Schroder Family –
Rick and Stacy Schroder are parents of three beautiful girls, all of which are still in their preschool years. Rick works with Joe at SeamonWhiteside and Stacy is a Nurse Practitioner at Peterson Dermatology. Rick and Joe’s work connection created a strong personal friendship between the Bryant and Schroder families, and from there Primrose School at Pelham was created. Rick was born and raised in Greenville and went to school at Auburn University. Stacy, originally from Alabama attended Jacksonville State University for her undergraduate degree and earned a master’s degree in Nursing from South University. After meeting through mutual friends, Stacy decided to leave her home state and settle in Greenville with Rick.
Who children become is as important as what they know is a belief that is at the core of Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum. This exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.

Denver Downs Field Trip
Our PreKindergarten students went on a field trip to Denver Downs. They are learning all about the changing seasons in the classroom, and experiencing fall in such a fun hands on way at Denver Downs was the perfect way to make it meaningful! 
Magical Pumpkin Patch
Our students sprinkled magical pumpkin seeds on the Primrose patch, and the next day pumpkins sprouted! The students enjoyed picking a pumpkin in our very own Primrose Pumpkin Patch!
Football Fan Fridays
Every Friday this fall, we are encouraging our students to show support of their favorite football team! Our Primrose at Pelham students have a lot of team spirit!
Belongingness Art Project
We celebrated National Belongingness Day by creating a schoolwide art project. Every child at Primrose at Pelham is unique and special, and we make sure to highlight and celebrate those differences every day!
Field Trip to the Fire Station- Patriot Day
In honor of Patriot Day, our PreKindergarten students visited Boiling Springs Fire Department to learn more about fire safety and show appreciation to our local first responders. 
Goodies with Grands- a Grandparents' Day Celebration
We enjoyed celebrating Grandparents' Day with a special "Goodies with Grands" event. It was a huge hit, and everyone enjoyed a special treat! 
First Day of School
What a fantastic first day of school at Primrose School at Pelham! 🎉 Our classrooms were filled with smiles, excitement, and so much enthusiasm for learning. We are incredibly proud of how wonderfully our students settled into their new classrooms and routines. We’re off to a great start and can’t wait for an amazing school year ahead!
International Day of Friendship
At Primrose at Pelham, we were proud to celebrate International Day of Friendship by recognizing the importance of kindness, inclusion, and meaningful relationships. Through collaborative activities, games, and shared experiences, our students strengthened friendships while practicing empathy, communication, and teamwork—skills that help build confident learners and caring citizens.
Center Enhancements
Our classrooms are thoughtfully designed with engaging center enhancements that bring learning to life. Teachers regularly refresh each learning center with new materials, props, and hands-on activities that connect to our curriculum and spark children's curiosity.
These purposeful enhancements encourage students to explore, create, investigate, and extend their learning through play. By keeping centers exciting and intentional, we foster creativity, critical thinking, and a love of discovery every day.
Soccer Shots at Primrose at Pelham
At Primrose School of Pelham, we love providing opportunities for children to discover new interests and build confidence beyond the classroom. Families have the option to enroll their child in enrichment programs such as Soccer Shots, Kidokinetics, and Amazing Athletes, which are conveniently held during the school day. These engaging programs help children develop coordination, teamwork, listening skills, and a love of staying active—all while having fun with their friends. Our students look forward to these special activities each week, and we're excited to offer families even more ways to support their child's growth and development.
Purposeful Play in Centers
Center time is where imagination meets learning! At Primrose School at Pelham, our students spend time each day exploring engaging learning centers where they can create, build, discover, and collaborate with their classmates.
Whether they're constructing with blocks, creating works of art, exploring science, or engaging in dramatic play, center time encourages independence, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Through purposeful play, our students develop the skills and confidence they need to become lifelong learners—all while having fun!
Developmental Milestones at Primrose
Every child develops at their own pace, and our teachers are here to support them every step of the way. In our classrooms, no two children are at the same developmental stage—and that's exactly why individualized care matters. Our teachers thoughtfully scaffold each child's learning and experiences to meet their unique developmental needs, helping every little one grow with confidence.
Outdoor Play
At Primrose School at Pelham, outdoor play is an important part of every child's day. Beginning in our Toddler classrooms, students enjoy two 40-minute outdoor play sessions each day (weather permitting).
Our beautiful turf fields and thoughtfully designed playgrounds provide a safe, engaging space where children can build gross motor skills, develop friendships, and explore the world around them. Every outdoor adventure supports healthy growth, active learning, and plenty of fun!
Summer Adventure Club
Our Summer Adventure Club students have had an unforgettable summer filled with fun, friendship, and learning! From exciting field trips and special in-house activities to hands-on projects and themed experiences, every day has been an opportunity to explore, create, and grow.

PreKindergarten Field Trip to the Zoo
As part of our Zoology enrichment, our PreKindergarteners went to the Greenville Zoo to learn more about the different animals. They had a blast observing animals in different habitats. 
Teddy Bear Picnic
Our teddy bear picnic was a HUGE success! Our Toddler and EPS students enjoyed sharing a snack with their parents and favorite stuffed animals. 
Zoology Enrichment Program
This summer, our Preschool, PreKindergarten, and Transitional Kindergarten students have participated in a Zoology Enrichment Program. This program has been so fun for teachers and students to learn more about different animals and habitats. Wearing these cool hats and vests really help our students to get into zoologist mindset! 
Water Days
Our students (toddlers- Explorers) have been having an absolute BLAST every Thursday during water day! This is not your ordinary daycare- students are constantly learning through hands on experiences! 
Popsicles with Pop
We loved celebrating all of our wonderful dads and father figures at our Popsicles with Pop event! We had a blast celebrating the COOLEST dads we know with a sweet treat!

Early Art Masters
Visual and creative arts stimulate imagination and critical thinking skills that are essential skills for success in learning and life. Through sensory discovery with various art materials, your child can be creative and express feelings and ideas through art. Your child will appreciate art techniques when using a variety of art media with nurturing guidance from teachers.
Thumbs Up!
Our toddlers enjoy Thumbs Up! movement with Mia the Mouse 🐭 Children at Primrose School at Pelham are enjoying their Thumbs Up! outdoor play time. Teachers facilitate movement and play by leading the class in engaging activities. During these sessions, children are practicing proper techniques for movement, balance and motor skills, all while having fun!

Are all staff members background-checked and CPR/first-aid certified?
Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
What curriculum or educational philosophy do you follow?
Our school uses the proprietary Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, which is research-informed and designed to nurture the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. We believe in balancing teacher-guided learning with purposeful play to build a strong foundation for the future.
How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?
All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. We focus on early literacy and numeracy as well as social-emotional skill development — so children arrive at kindergarten confident and ready to thrive. 96% of Primrose Schools Pre-K students met ASQ benchmarks for problem solving.*
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am-6:00 pm.
How do you keep parents informed about their child's day?
Connecting school to home is one of the ways we help children thrive. We use the Procare app to share daily updates and photos so you stay connected to your child’s joy, learning and special moments
What security measures are in place at drop-off and pick-up?
The safety of your child is our top priority. Our school uses a secure keypad entry system, and only authorized individuals are permitted to pick up your child.
How do you handle staff training and ongoing education?
All of our teachers and staff members are required to complete annual professional development training, including first-aid and CPR certification, child development coursework and curriculum workshops. We also host monthly in-house training sessions where our team collaborates on best practices and stays current with the latest research in early childhood education. We believe that investing in our staff leads to a better experience for every child in our care.
Do you offer after school care for elementary-aged children?
Yes, we offer after school care for children in kindergarten through 5th grade, available from dismissal until 6:00 PM on school days. Our program provides a structured yet relaxed environment where children can complete homework with staff support, enjoy a healthy snack and participate in enrichment activities and free play. Contact our office to learn about availability and pricing. We pick up from the following schools: Buena Vista Elementary, Brushy Creek Elementary, Green Charter (Pelham), Mitchell Road Elementary, and Pelham Road Elementary.
Do you offer parent-teacher conferences or progress updates?
We hold regular parent-teacher conferences and provide ongoing communication about your child’s development so you feel like a true partner in your child’s growth. This includes using Ages & Stages Questionnaires®, normed academic measures and Evidence of Learning Portfolios to track your child’s progress so we can personalize their learning experience.
What is your sick child policy?
We ask that children stay home for at least 24 hours if they have a fever, are vomiting or show symptoms of a contagious illness. This helps keep our entire school community healthy. If your child becomes ill during the day, we will contact you promptly.
How do you accommodate children with allergies or special medical needs?
Health and safety is our top priority, and we work closely with families to accommodate allergies and medical needs. We ask that parents provide detailed information during enrollment so we can create a safe plan for their child. All Primrose schools are nut-free facilities. Our school provides nutritious meals and snacks, and it’s all included in tuition.
What is your policy for school closures?
We follow a structured calendar with planned days off communicated in advance for the year. For any unexpected closures — including weather-related closures — we will communicate them as early as possible through Procare.
Do you offer a summer program?
Yes! In addition to our year-round classrooms for children ages 0–5, we offer Summer Adventure Club for elementary school students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Our summer program uses hands-on activities and rotating weekly themes to keep children engaged while continuing to support their development.
