Apple of Our Eye “Mrs. Garcia” We would like to congratulate Mrs. Garcia on being the “Apple of Our Eye” for June. Mrs. Garcia joined Primrose School of Pearland three years ago and is a teacher in our Toddler Wonder Program. She has a friendly and warm personality that is felt by her students, parents and co-teachers. We admire her personable attitude when interacting with our families. Her willingness to help out whenever it is needed makes her a valuable team member within our school. Mrs. Garcia passionately implements the Primrose Balanced Learning Curriculum with her students. Circle time is her favorite time to connect with her Toddler students. Being a Primrose Teacher brings her great joy and excitement as she sees her students grow and learn each day. Thank you Mrs. Garcia for all of your hard work and dedication! ~Primrose Leadership Team
Family of the Month: A Trusted Partnership We would like to honor the Shedd family for being our Family of the Month for June! We appreciate all you contribute to Primrose and we are happy to have you as a part of our school! “The Shedd Family” Jacob started at Primrose in December of 2018, after his family moved here from Baton Rouge, LA. Originally from Santa Monica, CA, being in another new city and school was challenging for him at first. His new baby brother, a CHD hero, had to also be in the hospital many times to get better, and being away from his best friend was hard for him. Fortunately, with the understanding, patience, and kindness of his teachers and Primrose team leaders, he was able to thrive and enjoy coming to class and spending time with his new friends. Jacob loves to come to school and give everyone hugs at the beginning of each day. When he has a great day, he is eager to help around the class and share his new book or toy with his friends. Being at Primrose has been a wonderful resource and emotional guide for Jacob on his difficult days and we are thankful for his caring teachers, Ms. Maryam and Ms. Justice for their thoughtfulness and understanding. He uses his time at school to draw pictures for his mom and baby brother while they are away and show his work when they are home. When he learns new songs at school, he’s eager to spread the happiness and sing and dance at home. He also carefully practices his sight words and his story books so he can read to his baby brother at night and his friends at school the next day. We are grateful for our Primrose family who have shown Jacob and our family so much support! Thank you Ms. Maryam, Ms. Justice, Ms. Kelsey, and Ms. Connor! ~The Shedd Family

Swimming is one of the best forms of exercise — for both children and adults — but many parents often have the same question: “When should my child begin taking swimming lessons?”
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
The big day is almost here!
