Welcome to Primrose School of North McKinney! We’re so glad you’re here. We’re proud to bring high-quality preschool and child care to young children and families in McKinney, Texas and the surrounding communities.
Our journey to Primrose is a deeply personal one. We understand that the first five years are a time of tremendous growth, and that choosing the right early education and care for your child is one of the biggest decisions a parent can make. We’ve been in your shoes, and we know how much the right fit matters.
As busy, working parents ourselves, we searched for more than just child care — we wanted a safe, loving and nurturing environment where our children could build a strong foundation for the future. We were immediately drawn to the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach. It combines a thoughtfully designed curriculum with hands-on teacher guidance, helping children grow socially, become more independent, and fall in love with learning. Watching the meaningful relationships our own children formed with their teachers left a lasting impression on us, and it’s what ultimately inspired us to open Primrose School of North McKinney.
Our on-site owner, Mariana, loves being a hands-on part of daily school life, from helping teachers bring the curriculum to life to working with the team to plan our nutritious menus. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and brings a background in public relations and marketing to her role. Ajit, co-owner of the school, supports school operations and studied at the University of California, Berkeley. He brings operational and technology experience to help ensure a safe, well-run school.
When we’re not at school, you’ll likely find our family cheering on the kids at sporting events, volunteering, hosting family game nights, or catching up with friends and neighbors.
At Primrose, we truly believe who children become is just as important as what they know. We see ourselves as more than just a school — we’re a place where your child is nurtured to think big, stay curious and grow with confidence. Through our early learning approach, we balance purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity and compassion.
We can’t wait to welcome your family into our community!
