Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Stephanie Rios
Hello! My name is Ms. Stephanie, and I am one of the Pathways Teachers here at Primrose School. I am a mom to a little girl and expecting another girl! I am excited to get to know your child and help them learn and grow!

Bonnie Frazilus
Hi, my name is Bonnie, I am a teacher here at Primrose. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in Creative writing. I have experience working with children through babysitting, tutoring, and teaching. I have experience with all ages, but I find the Preschool group excites me the most. I come from a big family of 4 siblings and many younger cousins so being around children is all that I know and something I will always love!

- NYC is my favorite place (that I’ve seen so far).
- I love to write poems.
- I am a winter baby, but I love summer .

Emely Mejia
Hi! My name is Emely, and I am one of the Preschool teachers here at Primrose! I was born in Brooklyn, New York, and I have 2 brothers. Since I was 8 years old, I have lived and went to school in Elizabeth, New Jersey. I attended Montclair State University and graduated in May 2025.

Isis Irias
Hello! My name is Isis (E-SEES) or Ms. I. I was born and raised in the 5 star country of Honduras. I have been in the education field for over 6 years now. I have an Associates Degree in Education. I love being a teacher and helping shape our future leaders into the best person they can be. I am the youngest of 7 siblings and I have 7 nieces and nephews that I love to spoil. I can’t wait to make wonderful memories with our students!

What do you like best about Primrose?
I like the balanced and organized curriculum Primrose has and how they have a good education department that modifies and improves things in the curriculum to make the children’s learning environment and experience better.
Flavia Hidalgo
Hi! My name is Flavia and I am a Preschool teacher here at Primrose. I have graduated from Montclair State University with my degree in Family Science and Human Development. I also have a minor in German! Having this minor opened up many doors for me. As I have had the opportunity to travel abroad for a summer to join an afterschool program as a student teacher! I was able to teach them the German language and culture through song, crafts, and constant exposure to German vocabulary. It was that experience that helped me develop a love for teaching!
Three fun facts about me:
- My graduation gift was a ticket to Guzco to hike Machu Picchu!
- I recently traveled to London to see a funk soul music festival
- I am a huge Pixar fan; my room is filled with Pixar toys and widgets.
