Hello, my name is Mrs. McDowell. I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I received a Bachelors Degree in Educational Studies from Avila University. While earning my degree at Avila, I also played on their Women’s soccer team, for four years. I have ten years of childcare experience working as a Lead Teacher in the Preschool and Toddler rooms. I have also been a director of an after school child care program. I received my second Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Central Missouri in Child and Family Development. I live in Gardner, Ks with my husband Brad and our Cats; Misty and Tiger. In my free time, I enjoy coaching children in soccer, working out and watching Netflix. We also enjoy spending time with our friends and family. I look forward to meeting all the new children this school year!

Hello, my name is Mrs. Lowery. I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. I have 8 years of experience working in childcare. Working as both a lead teacher for an Early Preschool classroom and being a private tutor/nanny. I love getting to help my students grow and finding new ways of adapting ideas to better their learning. I bought a house in Belton about 5 years ago where I live with my husband Jon. We have three cats and two dogs. We love getting to travel new places, trying local foods and are die-hard Sporting Kansas City/ Liverpool fans. We are also both members of large families. So, we love getting together and having game nights as often as possible.

I look forward to meeting all the new families and helping each child feel loved when they walk in the door!

Hello! I’m so excited to be joining the Primrose family at Leawood! I was born and raised in Belton, MO, and have always had a passion for working with children.

I earned my associate’s degree from Highland Community College and then went on to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Missouri Western State University. Go Griffons!   I was also part of their dance team! I have ten years of experience working with children in various settings, including as a dance teacher, a summer school paraprofessional, and at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City. After graduating, I knew I wanted to continue my journey in early childhood education, which led me to Primrose.I spent two wonderful years working with Mr. and Mrs. Amaran at Primrose Blue Valley, and now I’m thrilled to bring my experience and enthusiasm to the Leawood location.In my free time, I love to dance, work on diamond paintings, and spend quality time with my friends and family.I can’t wait to get to know you and your family!

Hello! My name is Ms. Adams. I’m incredibly happy to be joining the team at Primrose Leawood as a part-time closing Director. I love working with children and have used that passion to explore a variety of roles. As a former teacher at our sister location, Primrose Blue Valley, I was excited to expand my experience into a leadership position.

This role is a wonderful complement to my daytime position as an Administrative Assistant for children’s and student ministries at Christ Community Church. When I’m not at work, I enjoy creating art, including painting murals and completing commissioned projects.

I have three beautiful children who are the highlight of my day. As a family, we love traveling and having movie nights together. We live in the Overland Park area and enjoy exploring new places to take our two dogs. Along with our pups, our family also includes two cats and, most recently, a bunny!

I look forward to my time here at Primrose and to getting to know everyone.
