Miss Walker
Hello! My name is Miss Walker, and I have dedicated many years to Early Childhood Education. My journey with Primrose began in 2013 at Primrose School of The Mid-Cities, where I worked while pursuing my education.
Since then, I have earned my Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and Director’s credentials, eventually serving as a director at a local competitor. However, my passion for the Primrose Balanced Learning® Curriculum and its commitment to excellence led me back to Primrose, and I was thrilled to join Primrose School of Keller in August 2023.
I love seeing the Balanced Learning® approach in action, ensuring that children receive the highest level of education and care. I’m excited to be part of this wonderful community once again!

Miss Conway
Hello! My name is Miss Conway, and I am proud to teach in the Toddler Wonder Program at Primrose School of Keller. I joined Primrose in January 2019, but my passion for teaching began long before—I have been teaching since 2007!
I truly love helping children learn, grow, and discover new things every day. Watching their curiosity blossom and being part of their early development is incredibly rewarding.
When I’m not in the classroom, I cherish spending time with my daughter—she is my greatest joy! Just as I love teaching her new things, she has also taught me more than I could have ever imagined.
I am grateful to be part of the Primrose family and look forward to many more wonderful moments with our students and families!

Miss Dominguez
Hello! My name is Cecilia Dominguez, and I am the Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom at Primrose School of Keller.
I am thrilled to be returning “home” to the Primrose family in June 2025! From 2016 to 2021 (with a brief hiatus), I had the pleasure of serving as a team member at Primrose School of the Mid-Cities before continuing my teaching journey at a local charter school.
During that time, I truly missed the warm environment, strong partnerships with families, and high-quality education that Primrose provides.
I am so happy to be back and can’t wait to welcome you into my classroom and help your child learn, grow, and thrive each day at Primrose.

Franchise Owner
Stephanie Barfknecht
I am the proud owner of Primrose School of Keller, and I am honored to share my journey with you.
In the late 1990s, many Primrose Schools were being built across North Tarrant County. Growing up in Keller, I had just graduated from Covenant Christian Academy in Colleyville and was beginning my college journey at Oklahoma Baptist University, majoring in Early Childhood Administration. As I spent time around town with friends, I often noticed these new Primrose locations taking shape. One summer, I saw a “Now Hiring” sign at Primrose School of The Mid-Cities and decided to stop in. That day marked the beginning of my career with Primrose and my lifelong connection with Terry Taylor and Rusty McNab.
As life unfolded, my husband and I found ourselves searching for both work and childcare. I reached out to Terry Taylor, and the rest is history! In 2006, I partnered with Terry and Rusty at Primrose School of The Mid-Cities, taking on the role of director for many years while growing our own family. Then, in 2021, I began my journey as the owner of Primrose School of Keller.
Everything I have learned about business and early education has come from my years at Primrose. Understanding how children grow and develop from birth has always fascinated me. The teaching practices we followed in 1998 still hold true today, though we’ve evolved with new insights into how young children learn and the unique qualities they each bring. Every day, I am grateful to be a part of our students’ lives and to build meaningful relationships with their families.
At Primrose, we believe that who children become is just as important as what they know. This philosophy is at the heart of our Balanced Learning® approach, which blends purposeful play with nurturing guidance to inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion. We don’t just deliver a curriculum—we provide a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
We can’t wait to welcome you and your family to Primrose School of Keller!
