Our school is more than a daycare. Through purposeful play and nurturing guidance, we help lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Right down the road from the Sierra Vista neighborhood and Meridiana Elementary School, we are conveniently located on Karsten Boulevard. Kyle and Danielle Ehrlich

Welcome to Primrose School of Iowa Colony! We are proud to bring high-quality preschool and childcare to young children and families in the Iowa Colony, Texas community. We are Kyle and Danielle Ehrlich.

Having family members that own two Primrose schools, Danielle saw firsthand the importance of quality early childhood education. Being a stay-at-home mom, she knows the difficulties in finding great childcare as well. Our goal is to impact the lives and education of children positively in this community. Safety is our top priority, as well as making children and their families feel warm and welcome here at Primrose. After discovering and embracing the balanced learning approach method that Primrose uses, we believe every community, family, and child should have a Primrose school in their area. We are so excited to bring one to this fantastic and fast-growing area!

Danielle received her bachelor’s in psychology from UHCL and has always loved working with children. Currently she substitutes for teachers in her children’s school district and is very involved in their elementary school. Kyle has been in the oil and gas industry for the last fifteen years. He also serves on the company’s emergency response team. We love to watch our son out on the baseball field, and our daughter on the stage dancing. We are overwhelmed with joy that we get to bring fantastic childcare to Iowa Colony.

June construction update

Our school is completely closed in, and we've completed installing the new state-of- the-art HVAC system, fire suppression system, plumbing, and electrical. Sheetrock and stone around the outside of the building are starting!

May construction update

We are moving right along, despite the all the rain this month. The parking lot is complete and things are running smoothly inside!

April construction update

We have made so much progress this month. We have framing done, parking lot almost completed, plywood and tyvek in place, plumbing and electrical moving along, and our tower completed, where Percy the rooster will stand! We love watching this school come to life 😁

Primrose School of Iowa Colony officially has its slab poured! We can't wait to watch this building form from the ground up, and then before we know it, we'll be welcoming our sweet families!

This month a lot of underground work was done and we were excited to see some equipment on the grounds!

Are all staff members background-checked and CPR/first-aid certified?

Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
