Meet DeDee and Kevin Gebhardt – proud Franchise Owners of 3 Primrose Schools in Frisco, Primrose School of Griffin Parc, Primrose Main & Teel and Primrose School of Prestmont.
As longtime residents of Frisco, this dynamic couple is committed to serving their community by helping develop the next generation of leaders through high-quality care and education.
Kevin and DeDee have a very large family with 6 children and now 9 grandchildren, who all attend their Primrose Schools.
DeDee and Kevin are extremely passionate about exceptional care, early education and close family relationships. They feel strongly that a solid foundation is vital for future success in life.
The Gebhardt’s both come from the corporate world where they held successful executive careers “As a career mom with six children, I personally understand the difficult journey and rollercoaster of emotions parents go through to find the perfect balance of quality care and education for their children” said DeDee. “That’s why we feel very strongly that we’re in the best position to provide the nurturing and safe environment that is focused on working parent’s needs.”

This school isn’t just a school; it’s our second family! We’ve been here for the past 8 years and are definitely going to be sad when school starts in August. The teachers aren’t just teachers. They love on all the children as if they’re theirs! This school is one of a kind- from the owners who helped us during a very difficult time, to the front management staff that feels like family- to the teachers in the classroom- everybody is amazing. The Griffin Parc staff is absolutely amazing! As a first-time mom, I was overwhelmed and nervous about the idea of my baby going to school, but the staff here has truly been an answered prayer. They are so attentive, always remembering each child’s name and greeting us with a cheerful “good morning ___” or “hello____” at drop-off and pick-up. The teachers are incredibly sweet and reassuring, and they do a wonderful job keeping me updated throughout the day on what my baby is doing. You can tell they truly love each baby and child who comes through the door.
I really appreciate that they offer a great curriculum while also being flexible and willing to follow any established routine—especially for infants. My baby lights up every day when he sees the front office staff and his teachers! They also host a monthly Parents Night Out, which is such a thoughtful touch and a great way to encourage parents to take time for themselves. There are so many other little things they do that make this place truly special.

Our son has been at this Primrose since he was just 4 months old, and we couldn’t imagine a better place for him. The staff are incredibly caring, consistent, and genuinely get to know each child—celebrating milestones, encouraging curiosity, and making everyday fun and engaging. We always feel informed and supported thanks to their excellent communication, which makes leaving him in their care so reassuring. He comes home excited to share what he’s done and proud of what he’s accomplished. The environment is safe, nurturing, and full of opportunities for learning, growth, and confidence building. Our family had a wonderful experience at Primrose Griffin Parc, where our daughter has been a part of the school for nearly two and a half years. The teachers and staff created a warm, safe, and nurturing environment, and we saw amazing emotional, social, and academic growth in her during this time. The teachers are caring, patient, and truly invested in each child’s success. Ms. Guerra, Ms. Morgan and Ms. Truitt cared for our daughter like their own child, which truly touched us and meant more to us than word can express. Are all staff members background-checked and CPR/first-aid certified?
Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
What curriculum or educational philosophy do you follow?
Our school uses the proprietary Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, which is research-informed and designed to nurture the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. We believe in balancing teacher-guided learning with purposeful play to build a strong foundation for the future.
How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?
All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. We focus on early literacy and numeracy as well as social-emotional skill development — so children arrive at kindergarten confident and ready to thrive. 96% of Primrose Schools Pre-K students met ASQ benchmarks for problem solving.*
