Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Education and Experience: Associate’s Degree, CDA and over 20 years experience in VPK.

Mrs. Hernandez
Hometown: Guatemala
Education and Experience: CDA credential. I began my career in education in 2003 in a private school in Queens, NY. I also worked in a public school withing the Long Island area. In December 2015, i moved to Fleming Island and started to work with Primrose in January of 2017.
My passion is education. I love and enjoy working with kids. I am a mother of three children. I am a family oriented person. I enjoy being around my family. In my free time, I like to cook, bake, and drink lots of coffee!

Ms. Dunigan
Hometown: Vanceburg, KY. Currently live in Middleburg, FL.
Education and Experience: CDA. Over 30 years in childcare.
Danny and I have been together almost 20 years. I have a son Mathias (31) from a previous marriage. I have 2 wonderful grandsons, Woodrow and Caden. My hobbies include reading, watching movies and football, and spending time with family.

I am a mother of 2 amazing boys! We love being outdoors as much as possible. We are at the ballpark a lot for all of Easton’s sports. As exhausting as it can be we wouldn’t have it any other way! As a family we go boating and fishing in the summer as much as we can! I could go on and on but here is a little bit about me!
