Welcome to Primrose!
I am Jennifer Lauber, the proud owner of Primrose School of Eastfield Village! As parents to a hilarious and strong-willed two year old girl, Merritt, and our newest addition, Miller, my wife Felicia and I are excited to be part of such a wonderful community and the Primrose family!
My journey to education started about 15 years ago when I first worked in a preschool setting here in North Carolina and immediately knew I had found my passion in educating our youngest population. I went on to completely my degree in Early Childhood Education, and over the years have done it all in a school from a part-time support teacher, assistant and lead teacher in all age groups, assistant director, housekeeper, fill-in cook, and a school director since 2013.
I first discovered Primrose Schools in the Raleigh area, where I was a director for three years and was instantly drawn to and impressed by Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum. I believe in the family feel and high quality environment we provide for our passionately committed educators, and in our families that partner with us and believe in the work we do each day. What we do is so much more than teaching ABCs! There is intention behind every detail that is exclusive to our research-based approach.
My family and I relocated to Charlotte in November of 2019, and I found myself at Primrose School at Eastfield Village where I knew I had found “home” again. It is an honor to be a part of so many lives and have the impact we do in our four walls as well as the Charlotte community outside of our school for generations to come. I love watching my daughter run into school with such joy each day and be greeted with that same emotion from our teachers, but more than that I love seeing ALL of our children experience this every day.
We are excited to continue to provide the Charlotte community with a safe, caring environment where children can grow Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts®. Thank you for choosing us each day - it is truly an honor to do this work!
We are conveniently located on Eastfield Village Lane, right down the street from the Huntersville Fire Department. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Charlotte, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.

At Primrose, your child will get more than an infant daycare experience. Our teachers help your child develop and grow, building one skill upon another, which is why we are the leader in infant child care.
For all the joy the holiday season brings, there’s also some stress that comes along with it. From clearing calendar space to avoiding sugar overload, try these tips to put the focus back on family and fun.
Maybe it’s an early bedtime or a present they thought should be bigger. It doesn’t take much to bring on stomping feet and cries of “That’s not fair!” but these three tips can help.
It’s December, which means it’s time for our national Caring and Giving Food Drive! Read our blog to find fun ways you can help your child lead their own family food drive at home.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
