Welcome to Primrose!
I am Jennifer Lauber, the proud owner of Primrose School of Eastfield Village! As a mom to a hilarious and strong-willed seven year old girl, Merritt, and a silly and loving four year old, Miller, I am excited to be part of such a wonderful community and the Primrose family!
My journey to education started about 20 years ago when I first worked in a preschool setting here in North Carolina and immediately knew I had found my passion in educating our youngest population. I went on to complete my degree in Early Childhood Education, and over the years have done it all in a school from a part-time support teacher, assistant and lead teacher in all age groups, assistant director, housekeeper, fill-in cook, and a school director since 2013.
I first discovered Primrose Schools in the Raleigh area, where I was a director for three years and was instantly drawn to and impressed by Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum. I believe in the family feel and high quality environment we provide for our passionately committed educators, and in our families that partner with us and believe in the work we do each day. What we do is so much more than teaching ABCs! There is intention behind every detail that is exclusive to our research-based approach.
My family and I relocated to Charlotte in November of 2019, and I found myself at Primrose School at Eastfield Village where I knew I had found “home” again. It is an honor to be a part of so many lives and have the impact we do in our four walls as well as the Charlotte community outside of our school for generations to come. I love watching my children run into school with such joy each day and be greeted with that same emotion from our teachers, but more than that I love seeing ALL of our children experience this every day.
I am excited to continue to provide the Charlotte community with a safe, caring environment where children can grow Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts®. Thank you for choosing us each day – it is truly an honor to do this work!
