Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification

Beckie Merrill
I’m Beckie Merrill. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I’ve been studying ECE/ECSE since 2010. I am committed to learn all I can in regards to social emotional development and inclusive practices within the field. I began working professionally in childcare in 2020, after having helped raise my own younger brother.
I am a Jack of all trades; I held a private pilots license for two years, and did some feet wetting in courses regarding linguistics, English language acquisition and Japanese. I then committed to earning my CDA in 2020, and ultimately hope to earn a bachelor’s and Masters degree in ECSE.
I love kids and getting to hear all about the world from their perspective, it’s a great joy to hear what’s most important to them, and getting to know all about them and their interests!
Favorite children’s book: “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupery
In My Personal Time: I’m an avid reader, writer, artist (digitally and traditionally) and I love movies/shows and hanging out with my family
What I’m most excited about this school year: Getting to learn all about each and every kiddo and helping to reveal the person they can become
