Frequently Asked Questions
Are all staff members background-checked and CPR/first-aid certified?
Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
What curriculum or educational philosophy do you follow?
Our school uses the proprietary Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, which is research-informed and designed to nurture the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. We believe in balancing teacher-guided learning with purposeful play to build a strong foundation for the future.
How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?
All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. We focus on early literacy and numeracy as well as social-emotional skill development — so children arrive at kindergarten confident and ready to thrive. 96% of Primrose Schools Pre-K students met ASQ benchmarks for problem solving.*
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:45 am-5:30 pm.
How do you keep parents informed about their child's day?
Connecting school to home is one of the ways we help children thrive. We use the Procare app to share daily updates and photos so you stay connected to your child’s joy, learning and special moments
What ages do you serve?
We serve infants through pre-kindergarten, with programs for infants, toddlers, early preschool, preschool, and pre-K. Contact us at (720) 405-5150 for current openings by age group.
Where is Primrose School of Denver North located?

Do you accept the Denver Preschool Program?
Yes. Primrose School of Denver North is a participating Denver Preschool Program (DPP) provider, so families can use DPP tuition credits here. Every Denver 4-year-old qualifies regardless of income, neighborhood, or immigration status, with up to 100% of tuition covered for families with the greatest need. DPP pays us directly, lowering what you pay each month.
Is DPP support only available during the school year?
No. DPP tuition support is available year-round and can be applied to part-time, full-time, and extended day hours.
Do you accept Colorado Universal Preschool funding?
Yes. We are an approved Colorado UPK provider, and UPK covers at least 15 hours per week for every child in the year before kindergarten. Denver families can combine UPK with Denver Preschool Program credits for additional savings.
What elementary schools do your graduates attend?
Most of our graduates continue on to Denver Public Schools in the Central Park area, including Inspire Elementary and Denver Green School Northfield just south of us, along with Willow Elementary and Swigert International School.
