Our son has excelled and thrived within the first month in the care of Primrose. The teachers are exceptional, the curriculum ensures success and development. The administration team is thorough and simply is amazing! When I receive any call from the admin team, my mind, heart and soul is at ease! We've shared the positive, growth, development and caring hearts of this team with all parents from the grocery store, HOA moms, neighbors, family, friends and the list goes on. Hands up, hands down and all around. There's no other- they are truly exceptional! And the franchise owner invests in our child's success. She's visible, engaging and authentic. We thought leaving one teacher in preparation for the next would be traumatizing, but actually we couldn't tell the difference. The experience and culture gets better each time and we look forward to the next class.

My kids started daycare for the first time six months ago at Primrose. I was very anxious in the beginning and concerned if I had made the right decision putting them in daycare. But, by the third day my youngest was already reaching out to her teacher, and the staff were extremely patient and caring every step of the way. I am so thankful for Primrose as they have made our move to Florida a lot easier. My husband and I are so impressed by all the family activities they have and the cleanliness of the facility. My oldest is going to kindergarten next year and I will miss Primrose!

From pre-school to pre-k, the teachers and staff are excellent. Special thanks to my children's pre-k teachers for the wonderful attitude and attention you give to all your students. These teachers will be remembered for their caring and compassionate devotion to my children. I pray that the warm and always kind owner and administrative staff sees their enormous value like we do. Teachers are the fabric of this great country.

Welcome to our school! We are proud to bring Primrose to Ponte Vedra and the Nocatee community! As parents, we know first-hand how difficult it is to find safe, trustworthy, nurturing, high-quality childcare. We were shocked when we researched and toured childcare centers and how few we felt comfortable even considering for our children.
We were unhappy and disappointed with the options and with the childcare our children attended. This led us to further research and discovering Primrose…

These recognitions mean our curriculum, teaching practices, health and safety procedures and family partnerships are regularly evaluated against outside standards and re-evaluated on an ongoing basis to stay current.
Accreditation is not a one-time achievement. It is an ongoing process of continuous improvement that helps ensure we consistently deliver a nurturing, engaging and high-quality learning environment where children can thrive.
We follow the Balanced Learning® approach, exclusively developed by Primrose Schools®, to nurture the whole child intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally. Our goal is to provide children with the best educational foundation and character development so that they may thrive and be happy. Who children become, their character and ethics, is as important, if not more, than what knowledge they learn and acquire.
Through Balanced Learning®, our dedicated teachers create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion.
By thoughtfully blending purposeful play, guided discovery and nurturing support, we help your child build the skills to learn, grow and thrive, from our Infant classroom through Summer Adventure Club.
Each day, our caring teachers combine structured learning, purposeful play and rest into a rhythm suited to every age group, integrated with circle time, small-group lessons, Children’s Choice Learning Centers, meals and rest.
At our school, children also enjoy additional enrichment experiences like sports and dance that inspire creativity, confidence and new skills.
School readiness starts in our Infant classroom and grows through every stage of our Balanced Learning® approach, with each year building the academic, social-emotional and life skills children need for future success.
Using balanced assessments and ongoing teacher observations, we monitor each child’s development, individualize learning experiences and stay in close contact with families to support a confident transition to kindergarten and beyond.
Not at all. Our teachers work one-on-one with each family to support potty training at your child’s own pace, keeping the routine consistent between school and home.
Yes, Primrose School of Ponte Vedra – Nocatee has premium artificial turf fields paired with shade structures, interactive sports gear and cooperative outdoor game zones, giving children daily outdoor time as part of their regular schedule. We have separate, distinctive, developmentally appropriate playgrounds for each age group: Infants; Toddlers; Early Preschool; Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten. We also have a large splashpad water play area that is used by all during the warmer months.
Our playgrounds are carefully monitored to ensure children can explore, play and learn safely. Staff stay closely involved throughout playtime, keeping current on daily safety checks and constant supervision.
Weather-related precautions and ongoing environmental monitoring help make every outdoor experience secure.
Absolutely! Our on-site chefs prepare breakfast, lunch and snacks fresh each day in our own culinary kitchen, all part of our Balanced Menus. At Primrose School of Ponte Vedra – Nocatee, breakfast rotates through options like waffles with bacon, pancakes with turkey sausage cut lengthwise and crosswise and a blueberry muffin with mixed fruit.
Our lunch menus include favorites like fish sticks with mashed potatoes and steamed, cut green beans, fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and quartered strawberries, and sweet and sour chicken with yellow rice and peas, giving children variety and proper nutrition throughout the week.
All foods and meals are age-appropriate. Our school is also a nut-free facility.
We work closely with each family to build an individualized plan as necessary to ensure your child eats safely and confidently at our school.
Our teachers and kitchen staff are trained to accommodate gluten, wheat and celiac needs, peanut and tree nut allergies, milk and dairy allergies and egg allergies, as well as vegetarian, vegan, kosher and halal diets.
Our Balanced Learning® approach is designed to meet children where they are. Teachers adapt activities, instruction and support to match each child’s developmental stage and learning needs. We have large and small group activities as well as child-led activities and choices. Again, our goal is to provide children with the best educational foundation and character development so that they may thrive and be happy. Who children become, their character and ethics, is as important, if not more, than what knowledge they learn and acquire. We want children to be well rounded and with a sense of independence and ownership over their growth.
Through purposeful play and nurturing guidance, we help every child build confidence and grow at their own pace.
For families working with outside early intervention or special education providers, our teachers welcome ongoing communication to help support the child’s experience in the classroom. We also allow these specialists to provide approved services on site.
Yes, every team member completes a detailed background check before joining our school and is required to maintain current CPR and first-aid certifications.
Primrose School of Ponte Vedra – Nocatee maintains teacher-to-child ratios that meet or fall below the requirements of the Florida Department of Children and Families for every age group. Primrose ratios are smaller than State ratios from the age of two and thereafter. Smaller ratios lead to more one-on-one attention, so teachers have time to get to know your child individually and ensure strong character and educational foundations.
Primrose School of Ponte Vedra – Nocatee is licensed and regulated by the Florida Department of Children and Families, which sets requirements for staff qualifications, health and safety and classroom ratios.
We are also Cognia® accredited, an Approved Child Care Aware® Provider, State Quality Rating and Improvement System certified and hold the State of Florida Gold Seal, additional layers of independent evaluation beyond state licensing.
Yes, medication administration at Primrose School of Ponte Vedra – Nocatee is handled by our school leadership, who are trained to respond quickly and safely to each child’s needs.
For any child with medical needs, leadership keeps an individualized care plan on file, so they know exactly how to respond.
Every classroom at Primrose School of Ponte Vedra – Nocatee follows a Safe School Plan designed to help our team respond calmly and quickly whenever the need arises.
Staff and children practice these drills monthly and the plan stays continually updated to keep families informed – exceeding State requirements.
We use an app to keep families connected throughout the day by sharing photos, classroom activities, curriculum information, nap updates and diaper change and bathroom visit notifications.
The app also includes two-way messaging, so you can stay in touch with your child’s teachers whenever you’d like.
We value open, ongoing communication and connect with families in person at drop-off and pick-up to discuss your child’s day, answer questions and share what we’re noticing in the classroom.
