My name is Amanda Dahl and I am the Director here at the Primrose School of Center City Philadelphia. I started here at Primrose in 2022, but my childcare experience began well before that. I often watched my younger cousins so when I looked for a job after high school, I instinctively found a job at a childcare center as an afternoon assistant. Immediately, it felt like it was the right fit. Since then, I have had many roles, including Lead Teacher, Team Lead, Assistant Director, Business Manager, Director of Operations, and my most important role of “Mom”, “Mama”, or “Bruh” to Austin, Hannah, and Logan. Over 20 years of experience along with my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education has led me to my current role as proud Director of Primrose Center City. I believe a childcare center should not only check the boxes of what a quality program is but should be personalized to each family’s individual needs.
