    Ms. Angie

    Admissions Director

My name is Angela, School Coordinator at Primrose School of Canton.  I bring 24 years of experience in Early Childhood Education.  I have taught Preschool, Pre-K and Young 5's throughout my career. I have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Rasmussen University and enrolled in Bible School studying Children's Ministry.    My leadership journey as a Site Director for a Preschool GSRP/Head Start program led me to roles of Director, Field Coach and Marketing Coordinator. My interest in health and fitness led me to pursue and obtain a Personal Fitness Training Certification from the International Sports and Science Association.

I currently live in the Canton/Westland area with my husband, and we have 4 children, 2 grandchildren and 2 dogs.  I am active in my church and spend free time volunteering at a non-profit medical mission organization. My favorite part about early education is having the opportunity to help lay the foundation for lifelong learning.  I am excited to start this new journey with Primrose and look forward to connecting with children, families, and staff.

  • Ms. Daniela, Education Coach

    Ms. Daniela

    Education Coach

My name is Ms. Daniela and am very excited to join the leadership team at Primrose School of Canton as the Education Coach! I was born and grew up in East Germany. My mom was a teacher and I watched her teaching many times as a child. I also had the best Elementary teacher a child could asked for and always wanted to become a teacher myself. After Germany reunited, so much more was possible and I changed my career path. I went to university to become a lawyer and worked in this field for 8 years, but law was not my passion. I got married and became a mom of a wonderful daughter and in 2011 we moved to Michigan because of my husband’s job. This was my opportunity to go back to my dream of teaching and working with children. I started volunteering at the Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. I also became a Girl Scouts leader and my second daughter was born in 2014. When she went to preschool, I started working there as a preschool assistant teacher. With the COVID pandemic my old preschool was closed for a long time.  In September 2020, I found a job opportunity at Primrose School of Canton.  After my first year, I completed my Child Development Associate and became in Lead Teacher in the Preschool Pathways classroom.  I then became the Lead Teacher in Preschool, before moving into the Education Coach role.  I have been working with Early Education children for 6 years.

I currently live in the Canton area with my husband and two children.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, bike riding and creating art.  I am excited to guide and inspire both teachers and children at Primrose School of Canton to be confident and critical thinkers.  I want everyone in the building to feel safe and welcome and I want them to foster a love for life and learning.

    To many happy days!

    Ms. Bella

    Assistant Director

My name is Isabella (Bella), Assistant Director at Primrose School of Canton! I was born in Monroe, Michigan, so I’ve been in the area for my whole life. My father is a teacher, and my mother works in healthcare, which gave me a love of working with and helping people. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in social work. During my high school and college career, I worked in the childcare field and absolutely fell in love with it! I knew I had found my passion the moment I stepped into my first classroom. I have worked with every age group from infants to school agers. I love getting to form personal connections with them while watching them learn and grow.

I currently reside in the Belleville area. In my free time, I enjoy going on runs, reading, and drawing. I also love going home to Monroe and spending time with my parents, siblings, and grandparents. I cannot wait to get to know each of you and help guide the families and children in their journey through the first years of life. I could not be more excited to start my journey at Primrose!

    Kunjan & Hemal Patel

    Franchise Owner

We are the Patel family, residents of Canton and the proud owners of the Primrose School of Canton. We are the parents to an adventurous 6-year old son, a curious 4-year old daughter and the newest addition - a newborn daughter.

I am Kunjan and will be overseeing the school in Canton, with my husband Hemal. I completed my bachelor’s degree in engineering from Michigan State University and worked in the aviation field in the past and most recently as an operations executive of a non-profit organization in Detroit. Hemal attended Kent State University and has spent the past few years working in a leadership capacity in the Healthcare IT industry.

Family values have been a top priority for us. While we enjoyed our careers in the corporate world, we also wanted to pursue an endeavor that would teach our children the importance of family and community, and Primrose Schools gave us that opportunity. Our Primrose journey began watching our nephews attending a Primrose School. We were amazed at the impact that Balanced Learning® curriculum had on their intellectual, social and emotional development. As we began our family, we noticed a lack of high-quality childcare options in our area. We decided to bring Primrose Schools to other families in Canton, as the first Primrose School in Michigan!

“Who children become is as important as what they know,” is a belief that is at the core of our Balanced Learning® approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.

We are excited to meet you and welcome you to the Primrose family!
