Welcome to Primrose Schools! We are Natalie and Lawrence O’Connor, owners of Primrose School at Bulverde Road and Primrose School of Schertz. We were first introduced to Primrose through our good friends Tommy and Anna Thompson, who have owned several Primrose schools in the Austin area. When we moved to San Antonio in 2014, we discovered there was a need for high-quality early education in the San Antonio area and decided to open a Primrose of our own. We both come from families of educators and we know how important education is, especially for young children. We were also trying to start our own family, and envisioned creating a school where our future children could learn and grow. We opened Primrose School of Schertz in July 2017, and are so grateful to now have 2 children attending our school. When the opportunity arose to purchase Primrose School of Bulverde, we jumped at the chance to grow our Primrose family.
Prior to becoming full-time Primrose Franchise Owners, we have both enjoyed successful careers in the corporate world. Natalie was a director with Workforce Solutions Alamo, a state and federally funded organization that helps people find jobs and administers training and support services to job seekers so that they can obtain and maintain employment, and Lawrence was a commercial real estate broker and partner at HPI Real Estate Services and Investments, leading the company’s San Antonio office.
With Natalie’s expertise in management, quality control and operations, and Lawrence’s sales, real estate and business development background, we believe we are an ideal match to achieve success within the Primrose Schools family. We have always had a love of learning, one of the things that drew us to each other. We both graduated in the top 5 percent of our high school classes and both completed the prestigious Plan II Honors Degree at The University of Texas at Austin.
San Antonio is now home, and we take great pride in bringing an exceptional academic program to our community. It is our mission to always provide a supportive and positive experience to our children, parents, and staff to ensure that our children are receiving the care that they need to grow, learn and thrive.

Primrose School at Bulverde Road offers the Primrose exclusive, research-based Balanced Learning® curriculum that balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers for children ages 6 weeks old to 5 years old. Primrose School at Bulverde Road opened in June 2016 and is located at 18207 Bulverde Road.
