Meet Harleen Kaur and Ravi Arora, Proud Owners of Primrose School of Bolingbrook and Primrose School of Plainfield
As longtime Chicago-area residents, Harleen and Ravi are honored to expand their journey with Primrose Schools by opening their second location in Bolingbrook. Since 2018, they have proudly owned and operated the Primrose School of Plainfield, where they’ve partnered with families to nurture children’s growth through the exclusive Primrose Balanced Learning® approach.
Their Primrose story began back in 2014, when they were searching for high-quality early education for their son, Veer. After being not satisfied with the options along their commute, a family friend suggested they visit a Primrose school. From the moment they stepped inside, Harleen and Ravi fell in love with the warm, welcoming environment and the Balanced Learning curriculum. They quickly realized that Primrose offered the perfect balance of exceptional education, character development, and peace of mind for parents — and they enrolled Veer right away.
Over the years, they watched Veer thrive both academically and emotionally, which inspired them to bring the Primrose Experience® to more communities by opening their own school in Plainfield. Their daughter, Ajooni, also began her educational journey at Primrose in 2019 and proudly graduated from the Kindergarten classroom in May 2025. Both children continue to enjoy Primrose during summer camp and drop-in days, giving Harleen and Ravi firsthand perspective as both parents and school owners.
Education has always been central to their lives. Harleen and Ravi first met in middle school and reconnected years later before marrying in 2008. Both come from families that deeply value education, which has shaped their passion for lifelong learning. Harleen earned her MBA in finance and a master’s in accounting from the University of Akron. She previously worked in banking as a control officer managing multi-million-dollar budgets and as a finance and accounting consultant. Ravi holds a bachelor’s degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and a master’s in computer science from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He currently serves as a director of engineering for an IT group in Chicago. Together, Harleen oversees the daily operations of the schools, while Ravi provides technology expertise and strategic support.
Now, with the opening of Primrose School of Bolingbrook, Harleen and Ravi are excited to bring the same trusted early education and care to even more families. Their vision is to provide children with a safe, nurturing environment where they can develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. They are committed to helping children build a strong educational foundation through the Balanced Learning approach, which blends purposeful play with nurturing guidance and a focus on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math).
The Arora family is proud to call Plainfield and Bolingbrook home and looks forward to welcoming families into their growing Primrose family!
