We are collecting new and gently loved children’s books to donate to a local organization in need. By participating in the OG’s Book Drive, our families help support early literacy development and ensure that more children have access to the joy and lifelong benefits of reading.

Our school is proudly celebrating National Florida Day with a fun, educational, and hands-on craft activity that highlighted the unique beauty of the Sunshine State. Engaging in Florida-themed preschool crafts is a wonderful way to introduce young children to local culture while supporting creativity and early learning.
During our celebration, students created colorful artwork inspired by Florida symbols and landmarks, including palm trees, beaches, oranges, alligators, and native wildlife and even Disney World. These preschool craft activities helped children develop fine motor skills, creativity, and early geography awareness while learning about the state they call home.
Incorporating state-themed learning into early childhood education helps build community pride and supports age-appropriate social studies concepts. Celebrating National Florida Day in school allows children to connect classroom learning to their everyday environment in a meaningful way.

Winter break is almost here, and that means VPK is not in session December 22- January 5,but the fun doesn’t stop at Primrose School at Avalon Park! Our Holiday Camp offers families a safe, engaging, and reliable option for full-day child care during the break.
From December 22 through January 5, our Primrose Explorers can enjoy exciting themed activities, hands-on learning experiences, creative projects, outdoor play, and holiday-inspired fun—all led by our caring Primrose teachers.
Our winter break program includes: Full-day care for school-aged children Holiday-themed crafts &amp; STEM activities Team-building games and social learning A safe, structured environment while school is closed Fun-filled days designed to keep kids active, engaged, and happy

For more than 40 years, Primrose Schools have partnered with parents, children, staff, and the communities we serve to make a difference in so many young lives, especially those children and families who are underserved. We call this the Primrose Promise℠. As part of our Primrose Promise Giving Events and character development program embedded within our exclusive Balanced Learning® approach, the Caring &amp; Giving unit of the curriculum helps nurture generosity and provides a wonderful opportunity for children to experience what it really means to help others.
During the month of November Primrose School at Avalon Park is collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to families in need throughout our community. Unlike most fundraising efforts in which children simply ask their parents for money or food to donate to the cause, Primrose students participate in caring and giving in a meaningful, hands-on way. This helps them learn the joy of giving back firsthand as they practice compassion and generosity while developing math, planning and nutrition skills and making a real difference in their communities.

The parade is a joyful time for our children to express their creativity, build confidence, and share smiles with friends. Families are invited to cheer along as we celebrate the magic of childhood in the most colorful way! All enrolled families are invited on Friday, October 24 at 10:00 am!

Our Primrose School at Avalon Park students are in for a spook-tacular time at our upcoming Trunk or Treat event! Families will decorate their car trunks with creative, silly, or spooky themes, and our little ones will go from car to car collecting treats in a safe, fun-filled environment.
It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the season—costumes, candy, and community all in one place! There will be music, smiles, and memories made around every trunk. Costume and candy bags are encouraged! This event will begin immediately after our Parade of Costumes on Friday, October 24 from 4:00 &#8211; 6:00 pm.
