Our school is more than a daycare. Through purposeful play and nurturing guidance, we help lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Seema and Manoj Naik
Hello! My name is Seema Naik and it is a privilege for my husband Manoj and I to serve the children and families of Avalon Park and its surrounding communities.
As parents of two children our Primrose story began over 16 years ago when we realized the challenges of finding quality childcare where we lived. It was then, that I envisioned partnering with a program that provided a balanced and overall approach to child development. We are excited to bring to your families “The Primrose Balanced learning approach” as proud new owners of Primrose School at Avalon Park.
My past career has been with a large financial institution assuming various positions including that of an Auditor and Regional Customer Service Manager. My life philosophy has always been to be actively involved in our community and our family is a strong advocate of volunteering and contributing to society. You will often find us with our children volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, Second Harvest Food Bank, and in Senior Assisted Living homes. One of my passions is teaching cultural dance to children in our society and I have successfully competed in many competitions. The most rewarding aspect for me is how this has helped children with self-confidence and social skills while staying active.
We are excited and looking forward to continuing the traditions of Primrose School at Avalon Park and look forward to delivering an exceptional childhood learning experience to our children and families.
Our staff of teachers are talented and passionate and know they’re making a difference in the lives of our children, families, and community. Being a parent I realize what an important decision choosing childcare is. I know you will be impressed with our school as we partner with you to nurture and educate your child.

This month the West Lakes Early Learning Center Celebrates 5 Years of Serving Children! Primrose Support Team members, Franchise Owners and Primrose Schools Children's Foundation® Board Members had the honor of celebrating the transformational pilot center's success and 5th anniversary milestone of the ELC with our partners AdventHealth, Lift Orlando, Purpose Built Communities, West Lakes Partnership and the Bainum Family Foundation, in Orlando, FL. Since its opening, Primrose Schools has provided pro bono its Balanced Learning® curriculum, strategic leadership, operating model and ongoing support, totaling approximately $750,000 in in-kind donations. ELC 5th Anniversary Highlights:- Served approximately 300 children, over 90 percent of whom would not be able to attend the center without tuition scholarships. - Provided nearly 1,300 pediatric patient visits for ELC students and preschool children in the community.- Facilitated 14,880 pediatric therapy visits for ELC students and preschool children in the community!

National Working Parents Day!

To celebrate, we served up a delicious grab-and-go breakfast to fuel their day. Celebrating Belongingness Throughout September!
Throughout September our students are exploring what it means to belong, celebrating the ways we are alike, different, and wonderfully connected. Through our Belongingness curriculum, they’re diving into stories that spark empathy, curiosity, and joy!

Are all staff members background-checked and CPR/first-aid certified?
Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
What curriculum or educational philosophy do you follow?
Our school uses the proprietary Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, which is research-informed and designed to nurture the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. We believe in balancing teacher-guided learning with purposeful play to build a strong foundation for the future.
How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?
All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. We focus on early literacy and numeracy as well as social-emotional skill development — so children arrive at kindergarten confident and ready to thrive. 96% of Primrose Schools Pre-K students met ASQ benchmarks for problem solving.*
