Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Schedule A TourWhen we found out we were expecting Braxton we were in search of the perfect school to enroll him in upon my return to work. As first time parents we had no idea what we really wanted. We toured many schools and at the time Primrose was not open. After trying two different child care centers the first year and half we noticed Primrose would be opening and decided it was worth checking into. Braxton was enrolled in 2011 and we couldn’t be happier. So without hesitation Holden was also enrolled when it was time to return to work. Not having any family members in the area it is very comforting to have a child care center that feels like family to us. We are so thankful that we ended up at Primrose and thank them for everything they do.
We transferred to Primrose Austin Village just four months ago after lots of due diligence and feel that we made the best choice for our children's future. Okay, we will admit we were "sold" when Jennifer packed us a dinner (it was family meal day) and treated us as Primrose Family the day we had our classroom visit. Our son is in the Pre-K classroom and loves to be a helper and play with the computer. Our daughter is in the Young Toddler classroom where she gets lots of hugs and kisses. We are grateful for the caring environment and educational program at Primrose -oh and of course "Cookie Fridays". Thank you for your kindness and all that you do each and every day for our children!
I've worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for eight years now and have worked in four different schools in my career, some of them good and some of them not so good. When I came to Primrose to be the director of Austin Village two years ago, I knew my husband and I would be having children soon and knew that Primrose was where I wanted them to be. Brennen was born in January of this year and has been in the Infant classroom since he was eight weeks old. The last six months have been wonderful for him. He's the happiest, most secure, baby you'll ever meet thanks to his wonderful teachers. They are always there when he needs them but they help build his self-esteem by encouraging independence too. I love that he gets sung, read, and signed to everyday. He gets to explorer his world around him, go outside, create the cutest art projects and play with his friends. If he can't be with me 24/7, Primrose is the next best thing and our school has so much to offer him even as he gets older. I am truly blessed that I get to take Brennen to Primrose with me each day!
My daughter, Hailey, is in the Preschool classroom with Ms. Martin and Ms. Todd. She started at Primrose when she was about 2 and a half. As soon as she started I noticed a difference in her. Within a month Hailey had learned so much and was so proud of herself. Her teacher at the time, Ms. Watters really made the transition an easy one for her. I am amazed at how far she has come since then. Having taught preschool age children before, I knew the expectations I had for Hailey and what I expected her to learn in the classroom. Hailey has exceeded my expectations and the teachers have taught her more than I could imagine her learning at her age. Hailey is not only growing intellectually but she's getting the life skills she needs that will help her as she grows. When it comes to child care, there is no doubting that Primrose is the best.
We love Primrose! I have seen a HUGE change in Mac. He is learning so much and is SO much happier. I am sure you can understand the peace of mind that gives me. I am constantly impressed with what he has learned that day, the projects he has been working on and how much you all have planned for the kids there. The teachers in his room and Ryder's room are amazing! I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate the teachers and staff there. Best decision we ever made! So thank you for all that you do!
We are really enjoying having Nylah at Primrose and we truly value Ms. Kirpatrick and Ms. Hunt. They take the time to tell us how Nylah is doing and answer any questions that we have. They are always so engaged with the students and that means a lot. They also send home Happy Grams which makes us so happy and we build it up for Nylah so she knows this is a big deal. We even take pictures of the Happy Grams and email to her grandparents and godparents! Ms. Barrett is also very warm and caring towards Nylah. This is so hopeful when we drop Nylah off in the morning and she does not want us to leave. Ms. Barrett will redirect Nylah and ask for her help so she feels like a big girl. From the diversity of the things the school does and is involved in, the care shown by both of Nylah’s teachers as well as Ms. Barrett, to the friendliness of the staff each and everyday. We are so fortunate that Nylah can attend Primrose. We love that you all value your teachers and your families. When you value your staff, the teachers are more invested, and I can truly see that each day during drop-offs/pick-ups/parades.
