Saira joined Primrose School of Ashburn in 2022 and bring over 20 years of experience in childcare, along with the perspective of a proud mother who has raised two successful children. As Director, she is passionate about creating a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment where children thrive, teachers feel supported, and families feel confident in their choice of care. She is proud to lead a school that values strong relationships, quality education, and lifelong learning.

Assistant Principal

Kajal Thapa is a proud mother of two boys and has over 12 years of experience in early childhood education. She is passionate about caring for and teaching young children and believes that learning is a two-way journey where children and teachers grow together. Outside of the classroom, Kajal enjoys exploring new coffee spots, trying different foods, hiking, and spending quality time with her family. She joined Primrose in September 2025 and is excited to begin this new journey as part of the Primrose family.

Education Coach

Magda Jacinto serves as the Education Coach for Primrose School of Ashburn and Primrose School of Ashburn at Broadlands. She brings over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and began her journey with Primrose in 2024 as a Preschool Teacher before advancing into her current leadership role. Magda is deeply committed to supporting educators and ensuring high-quality instruction through Primrose’s Balanced Learning® approach, which she values for its thoughtful design and intentional implementation across all age groups. She finds great fulfillment in observing children achieve developmental milestones and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Outside of her professional role, Magda enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, traveling, running races, and engaging in quiet moments with jigsaw puzzles.

Preschool Lead Teacher

Ms. Jennifer brings over three years of experience working with young learners and has recently earned her VDOE teaching license. She believes that preschool should be a nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them.

Ms. Jennifer is excited to build meaningful relationships with her students and their families and looks forward to creating a fun, engaging, and memorable year in the classroom.

Primrose School is pleased to introduce Ms. Allison Martin, known to her students as Miss Allison. With over ten years of professional and private childcare experience, Ms. Allison brings a strong background and deep dedication to early childhood education. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature in 2023 and joined Primrose in September 2025. Ms. Allison enjoys watching her students learn and grow together and values creating a supportive classroom community where children and teachers blossom as a team.

Ms. Amber joined Primrose in October 2025 as the lead teacher for Preschool Pathways. She fosters a loving and welcoming classroom where children feel safe, valued, and eager to learn. She offers gentle, encouraging support during potty training, helping children develop confidence and independence. Her favorite part of being at Primrose is being part of a caring family and forming strong, joyful connections with her students.

Primrose School is happy to introduce Ms. Aura, a valued member of our teaching team. Ms. Aura joined our school in July three years ago and brings 17 years of experience working with children of various age groups in Portugal. Since joining Primrose, she has grown confidently into her role, with a passion for teaching children patiently until they understand and succeed. She especially cherishes the hugs and the love she receives from the children each day, which motivates her to create a warm, nurturing, and supportive learning environment.

Ms. Ayesha appreciates Primrose’s advanced curriculum and commitment to high-quality early education, and she enjoys building strong relationships with children and families while supporting each child’s overall development.

She joined Primrose in April 2024 and is passionate about supporting children as they learn and grow in a warm, engaging environment. Ms. Cheyenne enjoys building strong relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers, and she values the supportive, collaborative culture at Primrose that allows her to provide the best care and education each day.

Ms. Puri has been in the field of education since 1987 and holds a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She began her teaching journey in India, working with children across various age groups, and later continued her career at Académie Marie-Claire in Canada for 13 years. She eventually relocated to Virginia to be with her family and is currently a valued member of the team at Primrose School of Ashburn.

Ms. Puri is a family-oriented individual who believes happiness and joy are rooted in supporting and nurturing loved ones. Working with young children has always been her passion, and her extensive experience allows her to provide individualized care and attention, which she strongly believes is essential during the early years of development.

Her goal is not only to instill a love of learning, but also to emphasize strong values, helping children grow into confident and compassionate individuals. She approaches her work with positivity and strives to support and uplift those around her. Having been with Primrose for more than 11 years, Ms. Puri is deeply grateful to the leadership team for their trust and the opportunity to contribute to the school’s continued success in delivering WOW!

Primrose School of Ashburn is proud to introduce Ms. Zhandra Figueroa Coello, our Lead Teacher in the Infant classroom. Ms. Zhandra joined our school in May 2022 as an Assistant Teacher and was quickly promoted to Lead Teacher due to her dedication, strong leadership, and passion for early childhood development. She is organized, proactive, and solution-oriented, and she is deeply committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for our youngest learners. Ms. Zhandra works closely with her team to ensure consistency and quality in the classroom, fostering trust with families and providing parents with peace of mind each day.
