Mrs. Lopez joined the Primrose School of Amarillo Southwest in June of 2019. She is an Amarillo native and considers this town her forever home. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, volunteering time at her church, and enjoys nature.

Mrs. Lopez holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Education from West Texas A&M. She has worked in the early childhood field for over 15 years. Her favorite part of working with children is watching them explore a new concept and seeing their face light up when it is understood. Mrs. Lopez was excited to join Primrose because of their focus on high quality curriculum and overall character development.

When you enter our school, you are welcomed as family and greeted with smiling faces. This sense of belonging begins with Mrs. Lopez. She is caring, compassionate, and hardworking. We are beyond thrilled to have Mrs. Lopez as our Director. Thank you, Mrs. Lopez, for creating a home away for home for every student, family, and teacher.

Ms. Feese joined the Primrose School of Amarillo Southwest in December of 2019. Ms. Feese started as one of our toddler teachers and is now part of the leadership team. She opens our school every day and is a key person in training and helping teachers gain the knowledge needed to be successful in their rooms. Ms. Feese calls Amarillo home and enjoys spending time with family in her spare time.

Ms. Feese is certified in the Primrose proprietary Wonder Curriculum Program and is currently taking classes towards a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. She enjoys working for Primrose because of our well balanced curriculum for children birth to twelve years old. Ms. Feese has a peaceful nature and amazing patience.

We could not be any luckier to have a teacher as amazing as Ms. Feese. The environment she creates in her class becomes our students second home.

Ms. Thompson joined the Primrose team in 2025 and is from Amarillo. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and arts and crafts and enjoying time outdoors. Ms. Thompson also enjoys reading and going on drives to see the beautiful scenery around her.

Ms. Thompson graduated from Randall High School and enjoys working at Primrose with children of all ages because of how they grow and learn new things. She takes pride in the students she helps teach ad mold every day, giving them a love for learning themselves while making sure they are in a happy and loving environment. We are so happy to have Ms. Thompson here with us.

Ms. Rodriguez has been working in childcare for a little over 3 years and joined the Primrose team in August of 2024. She was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and some of her hobbies include reading, journaling and listening to music. Ms. Rodriguez loves seeing children grow and learn in a safe place, as well as seeing them develop their own personalities and confidence. She chose to work at Primrose because of its well structured and dependable environment. We are glad to have Ms. Rodriguez here with us at Primrose!

Ms. Gallion joined the primrose school of Amarillo southwest in April 2025. she was born in lake Jackson, TX but has been living in Amarillo since she was 11. She loves to spend time with her family and pets, she also likes to crochet, read, and play video games in her free time.

Ms. Gallion is currently going for her bachelor’s in architectural design and is certified in the primrose proprietary wonder curriculum program. She takes pride in seeing the kids she works with grow as people and friends. She strives to help shape and mould the future generation and chose primrose for its amazing structure and the impact it has on kids.

Mrs. Cruz joined our Primrose of Amarillo SW family in July of 2021 but has been with the Primrose brand for almost 5 years! Mrs.Cruz is from Friona, TX but now calls Amarillo home. She has a degree in criminal justice and specialized in children. Mrs. Cruz has a wonderful passion for teaching all ages and enjoys watching them learn and grow. Ms. Cruz has loved the Primrose brand for years and is certified in the proprietary wonder and venture program! She says her favorite part about Primrose is curriculum, values we teach and instill, and the team she gets to work with!

Ms. Cleeton is our current Kindergarten teacher and joined our Primrose family in June of 2025. She was born and raised in Amarillo, TX and in her free time she enjoys reading, spending time with family, crochet and other crafting projects. Ms. Cleeton graduated with a Bachelors of Science with a focus in Education and am certified in EC-6 Core Content and English as a Second Language and has worked as an early educator for over 6 years. Ever since she was in 6th grade she knew she wanted be a younger elementary teacher and has always loved watching the lightbulb moments her students have. Ms. Cleeton gets so much joy seeing all the kids learn and grow everyday. We are so happy to have Ms. Cleeton as a part of our Primrose Team!
