Teachers & Staff

Mrs. Amanda
Hello! I’m Amanda, Executive Director of the Primrose School of Alpharetta. I’ve been part of the Primrose family since 2009, after beginning my career in Ohio as a Pre-K teacher and administrator. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on Child Development from Bowling Green State University.
Since joining Primrose, I’ve had the joy of serving as Director of Curriculum and Training, Director of Operations, and now Executive Director. I’m passionate about helping children grow, learn, and thrive through Primrose’s Balanced Learning® curriculum, which combines fun, developmentally appropriate activities with high educational standards and character development.
At Primrose Alpharetta, our mission is to create a nurturing and safe environment where every child feels welcomed, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential. I love partnering with our teachers and families to bring this mission to life, and my door is always open for questions or conversations.

Ms. Natasha
Hello, my name is Natasha! I moved from Rochester, N.Y., to Georgia in 1996 in search of better employment opportunities. Shortly after arriving, I worked in the real estate industry, but I quickly realized that my true passion was working with children.
I began my journey with Primrose School of Roswell North in November 2002 as an assistant teacher in the Early Preschool I classroom. Within a few months, I was promoted to Lead Teacher in the Early Preschool II classroom, where I served for three years. I then moved on to Lead Teacher in the Preschool I classroom. Wanting to have a greater impact on both children and teachers, I became a Mentor Teacher, guiding new teachers in our Balanced Learning® curriculum. My most recent promotion brought me to the role of Director of Curriculum and Training at Primrose School of Alpharetta. I also earned my Paraprofessional Certification, which has further inspired me to grow and contribute even more.
I love working with preschool-age children because of the joy and pride they experience when achieving new milestones. Hearing “Ms. Tasha, look—I did it!” is one of the most rewarding parts of my day. The tools and curriculum provided by Primrose make teaching fun and learning even more meaningful. At Primrose, we are more than an educational childcare center—we are a family. I am always here for our children and parents, and you can count on me to support you every step of the way!

Ms. Debra
Hello from Chef Deb! With a delightful career spanning over several decades, I bring a wealth of experience and a whole lot of heart to the kitchen here at Primrose. It all started with my humble beginnings as a pie baker at Morrison Cafeteria, where I honed my craft for a solid decade. From there, I ventured into the medical field as both an EMT and a Phlebotomist, yet my true calling always beckoned me back to the kitchen.
Equipped with my Dietary Manager certification, I returned to what I love most – creating delicious meals that nourish both body and soul. For two decades, I had the pleasure of managing a bustling kitchen at Morningside of Alpharetta before embarking on a well-deserved retirement in 2020.
But retirement couldn’t keep me away for long! Now, I find myself right here at Primrose, where every day is filled with the infectious joy of our wonderful children. From the dedicated management team to the nurturing teachers and supportive parents, I’m truly grateful for the warm welcome into this beautiful family.
Seeing the smiles on our little ones’ faces and witnessing their pure enjoyment fills my heart with immense happiness. It’s moments like these that remind me of why I entered this profession in the first place – to spread joy through food and make a positive impact in the lives of others.
Thank you all for accepting me into this incredible community. Together, let’s continue to create memories, share laughter, and nurture the bright futures of our beloved children.

Franchise Owner
Irina and Suvir Bhatia
Hi, I am Irina Bhatia, and together with my husband Suvir we are honored to be the owners of Primrose Alpharetta since 2016.
Having grown up in highly educated families of teachers, engineers and lawyers, we come from environments where academics are the prominent family focus. We have experienced first-hand the value of early learning and individual attention during the formative early years. This helped us realize and pursue our passion for sharing this vision, promoting education, and providing outstanding early childhood learning opportunities to families in our community.
Suvir has a Masters degree in Business Management & Computer Networking from Carnegie Mellon University. He was been a Strategy and Operations consultant with a Big 4 Consulting firm for fifteen twelve years, before joining Primrose Alpharetta.
After earning my MBA from Georgia State, I also joined a Big 4 Consulting firm, and spent six years building my career in financial and project management. It was during these years that I had the opportunity to realize my dedication to teaching, training, and professionally coaching my colleagues – while also providing professional mentorship to friends. It quickly became clear that education, as well as personal and academic development of others, were my true passion and a professional dream.
In our free time we love to travel and see the world. Suvir enjoys exploring interesting and innovative techniques in photography of places we visit. I appreciate experiencing exotic food from different parts of the world, and experimenting with combining different cuisines and trying new things in the kitchen when we are at home.
Together, we are a team, dedicated to providing the highest quality care and learning environment to the children in our community. Our goal is to make sure our school becomes an extension of each child’s home and family, as a safe, interesting, and creative learning environment, which facilitates their personal and academic development. In addition to standing by the outstanding one-of-a-kind research-informed and well-rounded Primrose curriculum, we also firmly believe that who children become is as important as what they know. We are dedicated to creating an environment where children learn all appropriate life skills, which will help them become educated, happy and successful adults.
Please reach out to us to learn more about our school, and the outstanding curriculum and educational approach of Primrose Schools. We are looking forward to meeting you!
