Melanie Stitt
Meet our Area Director, Melanie Stitt!
Melanie has been dedicated to the field of education for over 30 years. She most recently served the community of Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD for the past 20 years as a principal at Comanche Springs Elementary, Ed Willkie Middle School, and Watson High School/ADC. Melanie is passionate about supporting children, teachers, and leadership team members to create a high-quality, nurturing environment for every child and family we serve. She is honored to be a part of the Primrose leadership team and is committed to making a positive impact on the families and staff she serves daily.
Outside of work, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family. She is the proud wife of a middle school coach and mother of an adult son and daughter. In her free time, she loves caring for her horses and longhorns and enjoying the outdoors.
Shelby O'Brien
Meet our Director, Shelby O’Brien!
Shelby became a part of our Primrose Family for over 11 years ago, along with her two boys who have since graduated from our Primrose program. She obtained her degree in Early Childhood Education and has a passion for working with children in these important early years. Shelby is committed to the children and families we serve, and ensuring our staff feels a sense of belongingness.

I like reading books that helps me gain knowledge. Im the oldest child on my mother side of the family so I was the helper for all the kids and always love giving each child the care they need.

Franchise Owner
Jessica Fielder
Jessica Fielder has been a Primrose Owner in North Fort Worth since 2005. Jessica was drawn to the family atmosphere of Primrose and the opportunity to provide an exceptional preschool experience for other families. Her goal is to provide parents peace of mind knowing they can trust the care and education their child is receiving.
Jessica graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Marketing. After spending several years in the field, she decided to become an elementary school teacher in Arlington, TX. When she and her husband, Ryan, had their first child, Jessica went to work at a foster care and adoption agency. During this time, their daughter, Claire, needed childcare and that’s when their Primrose experience officially began. After becoming passionate Primrose-parents, they built their first Primrose School in 2005. Both of their children are now proud Primrose graduates. Jessica also enjoys that all eight of her nieces and nephews are Primrose students or graduates. Seeing the love of learning, confidence, and continued successes of the children in her family continues to inspire Jessica to provide other families the same excellent preschool experience that was so important to their family.
Jessica firmly believes that Primrose delivers more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families. She continues to expand her mission by providing four Primrose Schools in the North Fort Worth area: Primrose School At Eagle Ranch, Primrose of NW Fort Worth, Primrose School at Heritage, and Primrose School at Alliance.
