
Our Infant Classroom
We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Infant Classroom Teachers & Staff

Sue Lambert
Mrs. Sue Lambert joined the Primrose team in December of 2011. Graduating from Western Illinois University, she holds a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Lambert has held many positions within the Early Childhood Field, but the infant room is where she is the happiest.

Arlyn Berg
Mrs. Berg joined Primrose in 2025. She graduated from Loras College with a double major in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. She has experience with children of all ages but her favorite age to work with is infants.

Sarah Kirkpatrick
Ms. Sarah Kirkpatrick joined the Primrose team in August of 2024. Previous Co-Owner to a home daycare for numerous years, we welcome Ms. Kirkpatrick to a bigger environment where she is excited to work in our Infant classroom, helping them grow and develop their own personalities.

Kristin Nelson
Mrs. Kristin Nelson joined the Primrose team in September of 2012. Holding her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Special Education, Mrs. Nelson has experience working with children of various ages. Helping wherever it is needed, Mrs. Nelson is current working in our Infant classroom and loves watching them grow and develop.

Kahlee Wallace
Mrs. Kahlee Wallace joined our school in August of 2024. After working in other industries, Mrs. Wallace discovered a love of caring for children. She enjoys being able to see how much the babies grow & change while in her classroom.
