Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Hello, my name is Tammy Markert. I have been a Primrose teacher for 14 years here at Bentwater. I grew up in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and attended Christ for the Nations Institute, where I earned an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Theology. I have been married for over 30 years to my husband Larry. We have two adult children, Jason and Rochelle who are the light of my life. I have lived in Buffalo, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Long Island, NY, and for the past 20 years in Kennesaw, GA. I have my CDA and have worked in all areas of the childcare industry. I also hold certifications in CPR/First Aid and Fire Safety. The three-year-olds are my absolute favorite age!
