FRANCHISE OWNER

My husband Travis and I would like to welcome you to Primrose School of Woodbury. We are the proud owners and operators of the Primrose School of Woodbury. We have 2 beautiful children (Primrose School of Woodbury graduates) who attend East Ridge High School in Woodbury. Our love for family and passion for community are what encouraged us to open our Primrose School. After researching child care and early learning options while living in Denver Colorado when our son was born, we stumbled upon Primrose Schools and were so impressed with the level of care, and education provided to the children there. We moved home to Minnesota in 2004 to be closer to our own families. When we couldn't find a program that compared to, or exceeded our Primrose Schools experience, we decided to build the Primrose School of Woodbury. We first opened our doors in October 2007, we have found great satisfaction in working with high-quality, dedicated early learning educators to provide the nurturing and educational environment we so firmly believe lays the foundation for future success. We continue to be amazed by Primrose's outstanding approach to education, the accredited curriculum, enrichment and character development programs. We believe in the importance of early literacy, and are proud of our Primrose Schools partnerships with many local and national non-profit organizations, including Save the Children, MN Safe Kids Coalition, Gillette Children's Hospital, Feed My Starving Children and many more. We believe our partnerships with these organizations will be forever valuable in teaching children that no matter how big or small, we all stand to make a difference in the world. We believe so strongly in the power of our community, and believe our Primrose School will grow leaders. Woodbury is our home, we live just down the road and we appreciate seeing our neighbors attend Primrose School with us. We're at Primrose every day, and take great pride in bringing an exceptional academic program to our community. We look forward to meeting you and to Primrose exceeding your expectations.

  • Ready, Set, Robotics!

We are starting off our second robotic week on a high note! This week, children were briefed on this week’s mission: It is a “top-secret” mission into outer space and the children must use the Dash robot to help bring our Primrose Friends back to their home planet, Planet Primrose! We learned that NASA has a control center and each of their jobs is very important. We were able to choose our own mission control jobs for this week’s top-secret mission. Ask your child what Mission Control job they chose! #readysetrobotics

  • Robotics!

Ready, Set, Robotics! Our school age Summer Explorers are spending two weeks learning all about Robotics. This week, our Adventurers became “makers” as they practiced design thinking skills, basic coding skills, and teamwork to complete several design challenges, including a Rube Goldberg machines. After learning about Leonardo Da Vinci’s large variety of artworks, machines, and inventions children began working on their own machine- a carnival ride! Children also practiced coding by designing their own path for the Dash robot to follow and worked in groups to help Dash complete the path they created for him. Be sure to check back with us next week to see what other inventions our kids have been working on! #readysetrobotics

  • Thank you!

We absolutely LOVE watching our Primrose Families grow. Thank you to the Tierney family for your kind words and being such a great addition to our Primrose community. We have enjoyed taking care of Maverick over the past year! "We have been so happy with the care Maverick has received since starting, and truly that we feel as a family. From being happily greeted every morning to the genuine effort teachers and staff alike have made to get to know us, not to mention the ease and peace of mind I feel dropping him off each morning knowing he’s getting award-winning care — for these reasons and more we are so grateful to be part of the Primrose community. Thanks to everyone at Primrose for creating and facilitating such an amazing community. With full and happy hearts, The Tierney’s Kyle, Christine and Maverick (12 weeks vs. 15 months)"

  • July 2022: Family of the Month

Congratulations to our July family of the month, the Rivera Family! "Hello! We are the Rivera Family. We moved to Woodbury just under two years ago from Germany and our children have been attending Primrose since November of 2020. We are a military family who moves frequently and Primrose has greatly helped make the adjustment to a big move easier for our boys. Our oldest son, Miguel, is currently enrolled in the explorers classroom and is always coming home talking about all the fun he has in before and after school care, and especially during summer camp. Our youngest son, Jaxon, has moved through three classrooms since coming to Primrose and has been able to make incredible developmental strides because of the wonderful teachers he has had in each classroom. We enjoy a lot of family time together. Most weekends we go on a variety of adventures just exploring the area. We frequently have family game nights and like to take our dogs to the park to run and play. We also really enjoy going to sporting events together and watching football every weekend during football season. Both of our children enjoy outside time the most. Jaxon likes the sensory tables and creating art with stickers. Miguel loves to go on the field trips with the adventure club and play with the robots in the classroom."

We are a family of four, gong on five and we live in the West Lakeland Township. Some of our favorite things to do as a family include riding our snowmobiles, four wheelers, lawn mowers and bikes. We like to play on the swing set, play with our grandparents and cousins, and spend time outside in general. We’re looking forward to the lake days ahead! At Primrose, our son likes playing with his friends, cars and the sensory table. If our daughter June had a bigger vocabulary, we think she’d say that she enjoys eating the stellar food, going outside and siting on her teachers’ laps."
