Welcome to the Primrose School of Upper Arlington and thank you for your interest in our school.  We are Jason and Deanna McGee – proud Franchise Owners of Primrose School of Upper Arlington.

As working parents, we struggled to find a preschool that offered high-quality education and care when our first daughter, Kennedy, was born. After a long and frustrating search, we made do with nannies and family pitching in.  Deep down we knew we were being called to something more.  Jason proposed the idea of not only becoming entrepreneurs but also helping other families by opening a preschool.  Our future started to become very clear after Jason discovered Primrose Schools.  We were so inspired and impressed by the research-informed curriculum, safety and values that were instilled in the company that we signed up immediately.

While originally planning to stay in Ohio, we were presented with an accelerated opportunity to open a school near Nashville, Tennessee. This enabled our girls to attend and receive the benefits of a Primrose School as soon and as long as possible. During our five years at the Primrose School of Hendersonville, the school was honored with the Primrose President’s Award for exceeding the highest standards of excellence in parent satisfaction, innovation and impact in the community.  After our second daughter, Kathryn, completed her Primrose experience, we decided to move home to Ohio where we opened our second school in the fall of 2015.

Upper Arlington is known for quality schools and we knew Primrose was the right fit for the community.  We feel privileged for the opportunity to provide parents both an educational preschool environment as well as excellent childcare services.  We look forward to meeting you and your family!

“Who children become is as important as what they know” is a belief that is at the core of our Primrose Balanced Learning approach. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
