Primrose School of Suwanee West

The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Check temperatures of children and staff upon entering the school
  • Require any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until symptom and fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequently disinfect and sanitize high-touch toys (all toys disinfected and sanitized daily)
  • Have building professionally sanitized each weekend (in addition to our usual nightly cleaning)
  • Frequently wash hands (both children and staff), which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Require teachers and other staff who have prolonged contact with children to wear masks
  • Train teachers on common signs of illness in children and have signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Launder crib sheets for infants daily and launder older children's individual cots and cot sheets weekly
  • Ensure appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Provide continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certifications
  • Maintain an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Our Commitment

With a clear appreciation of the trust you place in us, we are committed to following the stringent Primrose health and safety protocols, and ensuring our school meets or exceeds the guidelines from local and state officials.
