Primrose School of Spring Hill

The health and safety of our staff and the children entrusted to our care is our top priority. We are proud to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free or symptom free for at least 48 hours
  • Temperature checks for children and staff daily before entering the school
  • External drop-off and pick-up in the parking lot through a carpool line
  • Limiting school operating hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) to maintain separate groups of children throughout the day (at least through the end of 2020)
  • Building "closed" to outside visitors. Only children, staff, ancillary activity teachers, and essential individuals (i.e. food inspector or DOE licensing inspector) are allowed in the building. Tours for immediate start enrollment are significantly modified, please call the school for the most up to date protocols.
  • All staff are required to wear a reusable cloth face mask while inside or outside on the playground
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys and surfaces
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and in daily staff protocols
  • Limiting use of playground equipment to one classroom at a time and disinfecting playground equipment before and after each use
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
