The U.S. presidential campaign is in full swing. But did you know that our Preschool and Pre-K students are gearing up for an election of their own? Our Election Day event is not associated with the current election; however, our very own Percy and Mia are running for the title of presidential Primrose Friend mascot. Plus, students will get to vote on which presidential snack they’ll enjoy the afternoon after our program. Election Day at Primrose isn’t about who wins or loses. It’s about showing the students why voting is important to all Americans and helping students understand civic involvement and citizenship in an engaging way. Children are introduced to these responsibilities through activities and projects that help them become aware of their community of friends in their classroom and their neighborhood. It’s our mission to create a brighter future for all children – both inside and outside our school. Understanding the importance of civic responsibility gives our students the foundation they need to make a difference in the community at all levels. Thank you for your support as we work together to create a brighter future for your children and others in our community and our country.
Hello, my name is Ms. Wooldridge and I am the Lead Teacher of the Pre-K II classroom at Primrose School of Southwest Arlington. I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor’s in Education. One of the greatest moments of teaching is experiencing those teachable moments with the students and helping them gain an understanding for difficult concepts. I am excited to gain growth in my self and build relationships with my students to provide them with guidance in and outside of the classroom. If I could teach a child one thing it would be empowerment and the feelings of accomplishment once they have reached their individual goals. Congratulations Ms. Wooldridge on being our November Apple of our Eye!
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart™ program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Hi we are the Kertz family, and we are honored to be chosen as the Family of the Month. Matt is a maintenance manager at Poly-America, and Monica is an elementary school counselor in Duncanville ISD. Our daughter Caroline has happily attended Primrose School of Southwest Arlington for nearly four years, and we are so thankful for the robust curriculum and the loving teachers and staff that Primrose provides. Along with Caroline, we also have a fifteen year old son, Rowan, who attends Martin High School in Arlington. Caroline's hobbies include soccer (she plays on a rec. team for Arlington Soccer Association) and Rowan is gifted with technology and video creating and editing. As a family we enjoy outdoor activities such as swimming, camping, fishing, and also love relaxing at home with pizza and a movie. We're a little pet crazy at our house, with 3 dogs (Elvis, Georgia, and Winnie) and one cat (Charlie). We love walking the dogs, and Caroline loves to mother all four pets. She's our future zoo keeper or veterinarian!
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
At Primrose®, we nurture curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion and pay close attention to all aspects of your child’s development.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
