Thank you for your interest in the Primrose School of South Elgin, proudly serving the Kane County, St. Charles and Elgin communities. The Daniel's opened the first two Primrose Schools in the Chicago market. The Primrose School of South Elgin opened in July, 2011 and the Primrose School of Algonquin opened in January, 2012.
Laura completed her B.A. in Child Development from the University of Illinois and a M.A. in Early Childhood Leadership and Advocacy from National Louis University. She has served the field of early childhood education for over 30 years as director, district manager and region vice president. Kurt has his B.S. in Business from Roosevelt University and has dedicated his career to building and maintaining child-care facilities. When it came time to take the next step in their careers, they knew Primrose Schools was the right partner because the Primrose curriculum represents the best for young students and the culture matched their values and leadership beliefs.
As parents themselves, they credit their children's early education experience as pivotal to their later school success. Sammy is a graduate of Butler University and is a Resource Teacher in the Denver community. Sara is a graduate of Purdue University and is a High School Math Teacher, also in the Denver community. When their children were young, they saw their children succeed when surrounded by teachers and administrators who genuinely care and who create the optimal environment for learning.
The Daniel's understand the decisions regarding a child's early education can be emotional and thought provoking. Their goal is build a trusted relationship that provides peace of mind knowing that a child's experience at Primrose School of South Elgin and Primrose School of Algonquin is a choice to be very proud of!

To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
At Primrose Schools® Summer Adventure Club, learning meets fun through hands-on activities—like sports, robotics, and more—that encourage creativity, compassion and resourcefulness.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
