Brandon and Jessica are the proud parents of Lauren James! We love having their family as part of ours here at Primrose School of Simpsonville at Five Forks! We are so grateful to be a part of Lauren James’ early childhood education. The Back family joined our Primrose family in August! We have enjoyed getting to know them and see their smiling faces in our school each day! The Back family has been so active in our school since their very first day! Jessica jumped right in to our PVA and has been serving as the “room mom” in Young Infants. In October, she organized a Halloween party for the children and parents in Lauren James’ class, and she helped out with their Thanksgiving feast in November as well! Both Jessica and Brandon are such a joy to partner with, and it makes our hearts so happy to see how they love their daughter and genuinely care about the other children and teachers in her class! They also show so much love for the rest of our team, and they regularly go above and beyond for not only Lauren James’ class, but the entire school! It has been an honor to build a trusted relationship with each member of this beautiful family and we are so thankful to have them as a part of our Primrose family! We can’t thank you enough for allowing us to be a part of your daughter’s early education. Please join us in celebrating this fabulous family!
Our support teacher, Mrs. Laura, is such a wonderful asset to our team! She joined us four years ago, a few months after we opened! We have loved watching her build so many relationships with the children over the past several years; our school wouldn’t be complete without her fun songs and contagious laugh! Mrs. Laura is a jack of all trades who does so many behind-the-scenes tasks that it would take a full page to list them all! You will often find her bouncing from classroom to classroom, singing silly songs and loving on our sweet children, helping Chef Kerstin in the kitchen, and assisting wherever is needed! She is so flexible and willing to do anything and everything to help our school run smoothly, from driving the bus to delivering ice packs for boo boos! She truly does it all! We can always count on Mrs. Laura to have a positive attitude and approach each day with joy! We don’t know what we would do without her, and we are so lucky to have her as such an integral part of our team. Please join us in celebrating Mrs. Laura’s job well done!

When you hear an uplifting song, does your foot tap to the beat?
The start of a new year is a great time to reflect on the past, look ahead to the coming year and think about what we want to do differently.
We’ve all been there: Cue the tears, the stomping feet and the oh-so-mournful cry: “It’s not fair!”
There’s nothing quite like parenthood to remind us that sleep is a beautiful thing.
