Primrose School of Rowlett Franchise Owners

Franchise Owners

Marilyn Aragon and Alicia Carlson

Mrs. Aragon and Mrs. Carlson are the proud owners of Primrose School of Rowlett who believe that hands-on management ensures our families greater accountability, excellent parent communication and adherence to exceptional quality standards. To them, a Primrose education is second to none. Upon moving to Texas from California, Mrs. Aragon began helping her daughter find a place that would fit her grandson’s love of learning. After discovering a Primrose School and learning about Primrose Schools’ mission, they found that the company’s high operating standards, detailed curriculum, quality of service and commitment to excellence were consistent with their own values and beliefs. They immediately enrolled their son/grandson, Gabriel.  Mrs. Aragon joined Primrose in February of 2006 as the school’s Director and soon had dreams of owning her own Primrose School. In 2007, that dream became a reality when she became a co-owner of the Primrose School of Rowlett. In June of 2010, she became the sole franchise owner of the Primrose School of Rowlett. Mrs. Carlson joined the Primrose school in 2018 as the school’s Assistant Director. She had previously lived in Japan with her family and when she returned home, she knew that her love and passion for Primrose was something she wanted to continue on with and so she took the next steps of joining her Mom as a co-Owner of the Primrose School of Rowlett. Together Mrs. Aragon and Mrs. Carlson compliment the school with over 45 years of experience in the childcare field.

How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?

All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. We focus on early literacy and numeracy as well as social-emotional skill development — so children arrive at kindergarten confident and ready to thrive. 96% of Primrose Schools Pre-K students met ASQ benchmarks for problem solving.*
