Congratulations to our May Apple of Our Eye Ms. Amber ! She is the Assistant teacher in our Preschool Pathways classroom and has done a fantastic job helping out wherever she is needed. We are so thankful she is apart of our Primrose family!
Hi! We are the McDanals. JT, Katye, Tommy, and Jude. We moved to Helena 3 yrs ago to start our family. Tommy (3 yrs) loves Captain America and his little brother Jude (14 mos). Jude loves everyone, especially if you have a snack! JT is a Family Therapist and Katye is a Pharmacist. When we aren’t working we are probably taking the boys to the playground or zoo. On Sundays we attend Christ Church United Methodist in Hoover. On the rare occasion that we get more than a few days off you will probably find us at Walt Disney World. Our boys love Primrose and look forward to coming back to school every week. We can’t wait to see how the boys continue to learn and grow. Feel free to say hi if you see us in the hallways.
You remember dropping your little one off for their first day of school or child care.

Primrose will be closed Monday May 28th for the Memorial Day Holiday.

The shift from preschool to kindergarten is a big milestone for any child. This huge step will be full of excitement, but it is also a time of new beginnings and routines. In the spirit of National Kindergarten Day, we asked three parents to share their secrets to success while their children were in kindergarten:
My daughter was a slow-to-warm-up baby and a well-behaved toddler. She never hit or pushed, but instead used her words — like the time she famously told me at age three, “Mommy, I don’t like the choices you’re choicing me.”
Play is a crucial part of the social, emotional and imaginative development of young children, but not all play is created equal!
