  • December "Family Of The Month"

Please meet "The Farquhar Family" We are the Farquhar Family and so honored to be Family of the Month! We started at Primrose of Riverwoods last year when Finley was turning 3 years old in the preschool classroom. We added Monroe to our family in June and they both now attend Primrose! We love that Finley gets to check in on his baby sister daily. We are originally from Iowa and moved to Helena, Alabama 8 years ago. Lee (dad) is an Associate Professor at Samford University where he teaches in the Journalism/Mass Communication Department. Jamie (mom) is finishing her doctorate in School Psychology at the University of Alabama and will be graduating this summer. Finley is our active 4-year-old. He loves superheroes, dinosaurs, books, puzzles, and Wild Kratts. He is excelling in Ms. Katie’s preK classroom and has made so many special friends. Monroe is our sweet, snuggly 5-month-old. We have so much fun watching her learn new “tricks” every day but we are particularly fond of her gorgeous smile. She loves to be loved on by Ms. Becca, Ms. Kayley, and Ms. Abigail in the infant classroom. Lastly, we have a beautiful Golden Retriever named Chloe. She enjoys helping with drop off and pick up! We are so thankful for the love and growth both our children are experiencing at Primrose.
