Handwashing routines in overdrive:

  • Frequent hand-washing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind

  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Daily sanitizing of high-touch surfaces - door handles, push bars, light switches, phone surfaces, elevator buttons, handrails
  • Changing tables sanitized after each use
  • Cleaning company sanitizes floors, door handles, faucets, sinks, toilets every night

Physical Distancing:

  • Teachers and staff must keep physical distance of at least 6 feet from each other
  • Children encouraged to play outside while keeping physical distancing, 6 feet apart when possible
  • During drop-off and pick-up, parents / guardians encouraged to maintain physical distance of at least 6 feet from those not in their immediate household
  • Usage of facial covering (over mouth and nose) is required for all adults on the school campus during the day

Special:

  • Reduced student-teacher ratios in classrooms
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
  • After hours, sanitize all exposed surfaces in the classrooms using EPA approved Halo Disinfection System® that uses Hydrogen Peroxide and Silver solution.
