Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Requiring any child or staff member with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free, unmedicated, for at least 24 hours (during height of pandemic, this notice is extended to 48 hours with a doctor's note)
  • Parent drop-off time is limited to 7am - 8:15am in the morning and pickup time to 4:20pm - 6pm in the evenings. Parents and Caregivers are required to not linger in closed proximity during high traffic and inside classrooms.
  • Optional pick-up and drop-off at the front door for parents
  • Hand sanitizer available for parents and staff members Upon Entry/Exit
  • Touch free child check-in via QR code feature on Procare app
  • Low student-teacher ratios always maintained inside and during outdoor playground times
  • Continuous health & safety training for Franchise Owners and staff, including first aid and CPR certification (enhanced health and safety training for infection control and providing high quality childcare during pandemic)
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms and reception for easy teacher and parent access
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces throughout the building
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols (e.g., upon arrival, before/after meals, restroom, playground, departure, etc.)
  • Handwashing procedures posted in all classrooms near sinks for staff and children
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered routinely
  • Continuous disinfecting throughout the day on toys, manipulatives, furniture, and free-standing structures/surfaces using safe, peroxide-based cleaners and sanitizers
  • Nightly cleaning and sanitizing of all classrooms and common areas by the same professional custodial company, and quarterly shampooing and deep cleaning of all classrooms rugs and foyer
  • School-wide hospital-grade sanitizing/disinfecting sprayer activated after hours every weekend
  • During pandemic, campus is limited to current staff and enrolled children only (no outside visitors)
  • During pandemic, all staff members must cover mouth and nose with a cloth face while in school / classroom and utilize hand sanitizer (>60% alcohol) stations in front office upon entry and exit
