Franchise Owners
John and Andrea Schoel
Primrose School of Kingwood at Oakhurst is locally owned and managed by Andrea & John Schoel. They also own and operate the Primrose School of Kingwood and the Primrose School at Fall Creek. They are proud parents of two children: Kenneth, who is in college and Megan, who is in high school. Andrea writes: “John and I first learned about Primrose Schools when we were searching for daycare for our son back in 2002. As working parents, we struggled with the various alternatives for daycare. We found Primrose and the search was over! We enrolled our son in the Primrose School of First Colony when he was still an infant, and it has been a decision that has forever changed our lives for the better. Primrose has added balance to our family by providing a nurturing and fun environment where our son and daughter can develop socially, while also enriching their minds with an excellent accredited curriculum that will serve as a foundation for their future educational endeavors. We became interested in owning our own Primrose School when we realized what a valuable service we could offer a community, and at the same time we would be able to spend more time with our family. We are excited as owners to be able to provide you with the same opportunity to experience the Primrose difference as we did. We are on-site managers and will work diligently to interact and support our students, parents, and staff. My background is actually in Nursing. I am a Registered Nurse, with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Texas in Galveston. I worked for 15 years in a hospital environment, and this change to managing a preschool is a dream come true for me. Days at Primrose are full of love, laughter, and learning. John, my husband, graduated from Baylor University with a B.B.A. and is an integral part of the management and daily operations of our schools. Thank you for allowing our family to be a part of this great community. Feel free to contact me directly at aschoel@primrosekingwood-oakhurst.com”
