Health & Safety Practices in Place

  • Touchless check-in
  • External drop-off and pick-up of children
  • Requiring any children or staff with COVID 19 symptoms to stay home for 72 hours symptom free and/or fever free without the use of medicine
  • Only staff, persons with legal authority to enter, therapeutic services and children enrolled at Primrose will be allowed in the school
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys and surfaces
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and in daily staff protocols
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets and cot sheets and blankets
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep symptoms of illness top of mind
  • Continuous health & safety training for Franchise Owners and staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
  • Ensuring lower teacher-student classroom ratios than required by the state
  • Limiting the mixing of children between classes
  • Random temperature checks for children and staff
  • Face masks are required to be worn for all staff at all times
  • Limiting use of playground equipment to one classroom at a time and disinfecting playground equipment before and after each use
