Kristy Hirning
I have been married for over 30 years and I have three grown children, three grandchildren, two dogs, and five turtles. I have over 20 years experience working in the daycare industry with 17 of those years being a director. I have a BBA in Marketing from the University of Houston, Clear Lake and I am certified in EC-6th grade. I have worked at Primrose for the Arthur’s for 8 years now and I am looking forward to continue working at Primrose for many years to come. When I first came to Primrose, I was extremely impressed with the curriculum and programing. It was so much more than a daycare! I could not be more proud to provide such an amazing program for children in our community!

Cleo Matty
I have been with Primrose since 2018 and have served as the School Director for the past two years. With 7 years of experience teaching Pre-Kindergarten, I earned my Childcare Director’s License in 2020 and my Early Childhood Credential in 2021. I have been married to my husband/best friend for 15 years. Both of my children have attended Primrose, with my youngest currently finishing Kindergarten here. As both an educator and a parent, I have seen firsthand the impact of a nurturing and engaging learning environment. I am passionate about supporting children as they learn, grown and develop at their own pace, and I am grateful to be part of the Primrose family.

Ilana Sanchez
My name is Ilana Sanchez and I am beyond excited to join Primrose School of Friendswood! I grew up in Brighton, Colorado. I eventually moved to Houston, Texas when I was 11. I have 6 years in the childcare industry, 2 of those years of Primrose experience. I received a BS in interdisciplinary studies at the University of Houston – Clear Lake. I am a proud boy mom. In my free time I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, and love a good book. I am excited to be joining this team and can’t wait to establish a bond with each and every student and family to create long lasting memories.

LaTasha Phillips
My name is LaTasha Phillips, and I am beyond excited to join Primrose School of Friendswood! After graduating from San Jacinto College, I attended the University of Houston to study Health Science. During that time, I married my husband. I have worked with children since I was 16, and I have twin boys of my own. My family and I are very active and love to work out and run together. You can catch us outside doing our favorite outdoor activity- fishing. I love working at Primrose and getting to know the children while helping them learn and grow.

Kirsten Winn
My name is Kirsten Winn; I have been at primrose since 2025 as the kindergarten teacher. I earned my bachelor’s in education from Sam Houston state university. My husband and I got married back in 2024. Since then, we have just been traveling all over. I have worked in childcare since I was 18. I have also taught four years in public school. I love to be outside and learning new things. I love working at primrose and building a family with the staff, students and families.

Ms. Gracie
I am Ms. Gracie and I have been cooking for Primrose children since 2019. I have been in food service since 2006 and I love when the children at Primrose cheerfully greet me each day. I am very blessed to be the mother of 2 wonderful children and I also have a grandson and a granddaughter. I also have an 11 year old dog named Fendi. I love to travel and be with family and good friends. I enjoy painting and anything art related, and of course I enjoy cooking for my family and friends.

Ms. David
I am 39 years old and before anything, I am a mother of 3 amazing kids. They are, and always will be, my greatest achievement. In my spare time I enjoy going to the movies and painting. I also enjoy spending time with my family.

Ms. Morgan
I started working in childcare around 2017. Along with being a teacher I am a licensed cosmotogist. I use most of my spare time working on my degree at San Jacinto College. My favorite thing about childcare is witnessing the bound my children and I have, and watching is grow!

Ms. Ramsey
I’m Ms. Ramsey. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have dedicated over 25 years to the field of childcare. I pursued my education in early childhood and am eager to further enhance my expertise in this area. My passions include singing and writing music, as well as fashion and cooking. I truly enjoy spending quality time with my son and daughter during our outings I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

Ms. Shanitha
I’m Ms. Shanitha, I wanted to introduce myself,
I have 7 years of experience; I have a bachelor’s degree of Science in Education. My Favorite Thing About Working with Children is Watching them learn new things and build connections. My Favorite Children’s Book is Anything Pete the Cat! Favorite Holiday is Easter and July 4th. Languages Spoken in the Home is English. Pets in the Home: Luna (dog) & Lola (dog). Ms. Cameron
I have worked with Primrose since 2019 in the Kindergarten and Explorers classroom. I have also worked with children since 2018 with experience in all ages, also in customer service for 10 years. Working with children is my passion and I plan to go to school to further my career in Education. I am happily married and a mother of two boys who keep me very busy! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. I love working at Primrose and I am inspired by how much it has taught me. I’m excited to further myself here and learn all about your family.

Ms. Lily

I’ve been a childcare professional for three years, but my journey with children started when I was just twelve. I recently graduated from ACU and am excited to continue my career in education after I obtain my teaching certificate. I love spending time with my family, staying active, and being productive!

I’m Ms. Allie. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I am a mother of two boys who I enjoy spending my time with. Me and my family enjoy finding new places to eat and fun arcade places. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

Ms. Vasquez

I graduated from Dickenson High School in 2005 at the age 16. Since then, I have served as a substitute teacher at Dickenson High School and the neighboring elementary schools. I am deeply passionate about educating children.

Linda and Gene Arthur
The Arthurs reside in League City, Texas. Linda grew up in Friendswood, and Gene grew up in Hitchcock and Santa Fe. They have 3 sons, 3 daughters-in-law, and 5 grandchildren. Their son Robert is a graduate of Texas Tech University and South Texas College of Law Houston. Their son Brian graduated from Texas A&M University, and their son Michael graduated from Texas Tech University and works as a mechanical engineer. They are especially proud of their growing family and absolutely LOVE being grandparents. One of their greatest joys is having their grandchildren attend their schools.
The Arthur family has been active and respected members of the community for many years. Gene has positively influenced the lives of countless children through his volunteer coaching in baseball, basketball, and soccer. Linda served as both president and treasurer of Friendswood Little League. She earned a degree in Accounting from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
In 2005, Linda obtained her director credentials and opened the Primrose School of Friendswood. In 2012, the Arthurs opened the Primrose School of League City at Victory Lakes. For more than two decades, they have been committed to providing children with a strong educational foundation in a nurturing and supportive environment.
The Arthurs are passionate about early childhood education and take great pride in the positive impact their schools have on children and families throughout the Friendswood and League City communities. They believe that Primrose is so much more than a daycare and are proud of the positive difference their schools make in the lives of children, families, and the communities they serve.
