Primrose School would love to meet your family.
Contact UsWe are Bill and Kristy Smith and The Primrose School of Fort Worth at Mira Vista is our second school. We have owned and operated The Primrose School of Columbus Trail, an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational child care experience, for fourteen years. Even though we have owned a school for fourteen years and we bring many years of experience in the business world, it has been our children that have taught us the most important lessons. Back when we began, we had a choice when making a decision to purchase a preschool or daycare just as we know that you have a choice in child care. We chose Primrose in 2007 because Primrose Schools offers more than a daycare experience and we continue to invest in Primrose by building and operating Primrose School of Fort Worth at Mira Vista.
Our goal is to ensure Fort Worth children are loved and cared for in an environment that fosters a lifelong love of learning. Primrose School of Fort Worth at Mira Vista provides an atmosphere where children can grow their Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts®.
Primrose School of Fort Worth at Mira Vista features the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum for children ages six weeks old to six years old, as well as after school and a Summer program for children up to age twelve. Developed by and taught exclusively at Primrose Schools, the research-based curriculum blends teacher-guided and child-initiated activities with a special emphasis on character development.
We are proud to be a part of both this organization and the lives of our families. We enjoy working with the great staff and continuing with the educational philosophy that Primrose offers. We both are active in the school visiting with children and parents and welcoming suggestions at any time. We are proud of our school because of our students, parents, management team and teaching staff.

It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged.
Fostering a sense of belongingness has been a part of every day at Primrose for the past 40 years, and we’re excited to invite all families, from Primrose and beyond, to join in as we celebrate the annual National Day of Belongingness on September 29.
Now more than ever, it is important that we nurture young children to be accepting of those who are different than them.
Try these easy at-home activities to promote character and social growth that will help children celebrate their similarities and differences, and help create connections with others.
90% of a child’s brain develops in the first five years.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
