Our teachers and caregivers are trained, ready and excited to help spark lightbulb moments for your child. We invite you to visit and see our Balanced Learning approach in action
Jon and Sharon Tanner and are the owners of the Primrose School of Edmond. We have been residents of Oklahoma City for over 45 years. In June of 2008 we opened the first Oklahoma Primrose School in the city of Edmond. The first time we toured a Primrose school we were very impressed with the curriculum, operational approach, and atmosphere. As we learned more about Primrose we became increasingly impressed with their balanced learning approach. We decided that while our children did not have the opportunity to attend a Primrose School, we could bring Primrose to Oklahoma and our families. Call now to register your child and begin a partnership that will enrich your child's future.

We’re the Roberts family, Aden (1), Jess (“dada”), Kasey (“mama”), and Coby (“dodo” dog). Our home is in Oklahoma City, and our extended family lives in Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio. Our favorite things to do together include dancing to good music, exploring the outdoors, going to the park, shooting hoops, and spending time with our family and friends. We are grateful for the wonderful Primrose teachers and their thoughtful approach to teaching and caring for Aden and his friends.
For all the joy the holiday season brings, there’s also some stress that comes along with it. From clearing calendar space to avoiding sugar overload, try these tips to put the focus back on family and fun.

Maybe it’s an early bedtime or a present they thought should be bigger. It doesn’t take much to bring on stomping feet and cries of “That’s not fair!” but these three tips can help.
It’s December, which means it’s time for our national Caring and Giving Food Drive! Read our blog to find fun ways you can help your child lead their own family food drive at home.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
