Schedule A TourPrimrose School of Cumming East opened in 1991, the eighth Primrose franchise awarded of the over 450 currently operating nationwide. Primrose School of Cumming East is a subsidiary of Excellence in Child Care (EICC) owned by Kim and Debbie Coleman. Excellence in Child Care typifies our attitude about our school.
Kim served on the inaugural franchise advisory council. Kim and Debbie were both honored to receive the prestigious President’s Award for operational excellence from the franchise company. Primrose School of Cumming East was one of Georgia’s first AdvancEd SACS (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) fully accredited individual preschools, the highest academic credential available to schools at any level. SACS is the accrediting organization for all eligible public schools in Georgia including Georgia Tech, UGA, and all Forsyth County schools from elementary to high schools. Nationwide on the comprehensive Unifocus Parent Survey, our school scored in the top 20 system-wide overall and 4th highest in parent satisfaction.
We've been awarded 4 consecutive “Best of Forsyth” award for Best Child Care Center as voted on by Forsyth County residents. As you can probably tell, we are very proud of our school’s reputation but even more proud of our incredible staff that works hard every day to meet or exceed the expectations of our families. Effective early childhood education is proven to provide a significant advantage for children when entering primary school... and no one provides a better, more complete foundation. Primrose School of Cumming East is much more that a child care center. We are a school, specializing in educational child care that strives to provide the solid, well-rounded foundation that encourages success for all our students.
We are conveniently located on the corner of Hwy 20 and Sanders Rd., right down the street from Northside Hospital Forsyth and minutes away from Haw Creek Elementary. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Cumming, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.
