Hi, I am Julie Bowman. My dad (Joe Deppen) and I are the proud owners and operators of the Primrose School at Bridgewater. My husband Bryan and I have three beautiful children named Adelyn, Gavin, and Alaina. My love for my family and my passion for education are what drove me to open my first Primrose School and now open another school in the Westfield area.
My lifelong dream has been to open a school of my own. After researching schools and the requirements to start my own, I stumbled upon Primrose Schools. I continue to be amazed by Primrose's outstanding approach to education, their accredited curriculum and their character development programs.
My professional career has been in education for the past 12 years with Hamilton Southeastern Schools. While with HSES, I worked as a special education teacher at the elementary and high school levels for 5 years, as an assistant principal for 3 years, and spent the last 3 years as the Principal at Sand Creek Intermediate School. I have a Bachelors Degree in Special Education, a Director of Special Education degree, a Masters in School Administration and have finished all coursework to receive my doctorate in education administration.
Westfield is an amazing community and I am pleased with the opportunity to open a second school, the Primrose School at Bridgewater. Our schools are outstanding, with Cognia accredited curriculum. Our Primrose School is like no other private preschool in the state of Indiana. Please give us the opportunity to show you how much of a difference we can make in your children's lives. I promise you will not be disappointed.

We are heartbroken and dismayed by the tragic killings of George Floyd and others who have experienced intolerable acts of racism and social injustice. We recognize the sincere outrage and anguish expressed through peaceful protests because we know, as a society, we can do better. We must listen to this outcry and take this opportunity, together, to work harder to ensure equality.

Maybe it’s an early bedtime or a present they thought should be bigger. It doesn’t take much to bring on stomping feet and cries of “That’s not fair!” but these three tips can help.
It’s December, which means it’s time for our national Caring and Giving Food Drive! Read our blog to find fun ways you can help your child lead their own family food drive at home.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
