Schedule A TourAnn Andrade (M.S. Biomech. Eng., NC State, B.S. Materials Eng., Clemson) and Luis Andrade (B.S. Chem. Eng., NC State, B.A. Chemistry & Spanish, UNC). The Andrades are proud to bring Primrose Schools to Hanover County. We are committed to the excellent educational programs that are unique to Primrose. We are passionate about providing the variety of programs that will enable our students to become happy, considerate, well-rounded children, fully prepared for elementary school. Ann and Luis Andrade have three sons, Luisito (20), Nicolas (18), and Alejandro (14). Luisito is a graduate of Maggie Walker Governor's School and is currently pursuing a degree in Spanish and International Business at Virginia Commonwealth University. Nicolas is also a graduate of Maggie Walker Governor's School and is currently a freshman studying electrical Engineering and Physics at VCU. Alejandro is an 9th grader at Hanover High School. Luis is a native Spanish speaker. He and Ann are eager to share their language skills through Primrose's Mucho Mundo program. Ann is on site regularly and always available to our families. Luis serves as Site Manager and visits the school frequently to maintain the grounds and equipment. We are pleased to be a part of the Atlee community and to serve our Primrose families in any way that we can.
We are conveniently located on Atlee Commons Drive, right down the street from Hanover County Municipal Airport and Walmart Neighborhood Market. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Ashland, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.

Our Balanced Learning® approach weaves in character development and life skills into daily learning experiences because we believe who children become is as important as what they know.
At Primrose Schools® Summer Adventure Club, learning meets fun through hands-on activities—like sports, robotics, and more—that encourage creativity, compassion and resourcefulness.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Our new exclusive Harmony & Heart® program integrates our proprietary music and books in a variety of thoughtful ways each day. Through learning about music, while simultaneously being exposed to concepts in math, language, and character development, your child will grow as a musician, a student, and a person.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
