Nurture Wonder, and Rediscover it Yourself

At Primrose schools, infant and toddler teachers wear a lot of hats — but babysitter isn’t one of them. Because as a Primrose educator, you’ll have the important role of guiding children through milestone moments. As you nurture their natural curiosity and wonder through our Balanced Learning® approach, you’ll experience the magic of the everyday right alongside them.

For teachers who work with the infant age group — 6 weeks to 12 months old — helping children develop early language and literacy skills will be your focus. Whether you’re talking to students, reading with them or teaching simple sign language, your loving interactions will provide the security and stimulation they need to thrive. Teachers in toddler classrooms build on that foundation for children ages 12 to 24 months old. From guiding independent play at Children’s Choice Learning Centers to the “mind-stretching” exercises you’ll lead every morning, your students will learn to explore the world around them safely and confidently.

Whether you’re drawn to an infant or toddler teacher position, this is a job for someone with a nurturing spirit, the patience to teach, a love of structure and details, a passion for learning, and the creativity to personalize learning experiences for each child.
