Contact UsPrimrose School of North Raleigh is owned and operated by Michael and Beth White. They have been in the educational childcare business since 2000 when they opened their first school - Primrose School of Hilburn. With 4 young children of their own they understand the great need for quality educational childcare and the trials and tribulations of balancing both career and family. Michael and Beth are both North Carolina natives and both graduated from North Carolina State University. Michael holds degrees in Biological Sciences / Bio-Chemistry and currently works as an Environmental Residue Coordinator in RTP. Beth has a degree in Business Management and in Spanish Language and Literature. Prior to opening the Primrose Schools she worked in telecommunications. Michael and Beth met while in college and married shortly after graduation. They have been married for over 22 years now. Their children, 2 boys and 2 girls, are 19, 14, 11 and 8. Their oldest daughter is now a freshman at UNC studying genetics. The White’s live in the North Raleigh area and enjoy spending their free time with their children. They tend to spend their weekends around the house shuttling kids from play date to play date! The family has a Welsh Terrier, four crazy cats, an Eclectus parrot, a bearded dragon and a saltwater reef tank.
Our Balanced Learning approach to child care makes us different than an ordinary North Raleigh daycare. Right down the road from Life Time Athletic and Lafayette Village, we are conveniently located on Falls of the Neuse Road.
Infant, Toddler, Early preschool, Preschool, Pre-kindergarten
At Primrose, your child will get more than an infant daycare experience. Our teachers help your child develop and grow, building one skill upon another, which is why we are the leader in infant child care.
Fostering a sense of belongingness has been a part of every day at Primrose for the past 40 years, and we’re excited to invite all families, from Primrose and beyond, to join in as we celebrate the annual National Day of Belongingness on September 29.
Try these easy at-home activities to promote character and social growth that will help children celebrate their similarities and differences, and help create connections with others.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
